Yes it did come with an ironing “net”. Not a solid cloth, but a net. I have not used it, but it’s there. (Similar to a heavy tulle)

No, there is no no-slip on the extra-large size.

Can this be used as a hot pad under pots hot from the oven? I need something for pot luck church dinners.

If you fold it in half it should work nicely to keep dishes from the oven hot while protecting the table beneath the pad.
