Gutes Spiel

A Great Puzzle-y Co-op (now with an option for 2-player or solitaire games)
Sean Rumble has created a wonderful cooperative game in The Banishing, and he has stood by it on forums such as BoardGameGeek by making himself available to answer questions and to make official rulings (which actually make sense, no less). The art on the cards is very plain, but the game itself can become an intense brain-burner as you and your teammates puzzle out your next moves, working towards a goal of banishing a certain number of symbols before the final wave of enemies depletes the deck. I enjoy it because it's almost abstract in its art style and mechanical approach, but still lots of fun all the same. Note: It doesn't say so I'm the description, but this game can be played by 2 players (or solitaire by controlling 2 characters); one just needs to take one of each of the symbols in each color (9 cards total) out of the deck beforehand.

Good game, but hard.
Fun game. Saw it on “Game Night!”, Boardgamegeek.com’s playthrough YouTube series.Only played it 3 players and it was HARD. I know my game group will continue to play though.
