I purchased two of these. The auxiliary battery box itself is nice but there were no DETAILED INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS included. In fact there were not ANY installation instructions at all. I had to unbolt the connector on the first battery to connect it to the main solar battery box because I couldn't get them to align properly to close the connection. After I finally got the Main solar box connected to the first auxiliary battery box, I could not re-bolt the battery connector on the first auxiliary battery box because the cables were too stiff and not long enough to give me the 'play' I needed to align the bolts with the bolt holes in the connector itself. Connecting the second auxiliary box to the first one was relatively easier, but the cables themselves are very stiff and require some muscle to ensure a proper connection. I think I have all of the boxes grounded properly, but I had no instructions at all to refer to. I tried to contact KISAE for help on this and some other questions I had but KISAE has failed to reply to any of my emails or telephone calls. This is my first experience with solar powered systems. I have learned much about them now and wish I had spent my money on other solar equipment or arrays. I feel this entire system is more of a 'toy' than a serious solution to home solar systems. I was promised a $100 cash back rebate which I have never received. The advertisement for the system I purchased said I was buying an 80 watt folding solar panels but was sent only a single 40 watt panel. The connectors between the solar panel and main battery system is a 3 core wire using SAE connectors. This is a serious problem if you purchase a higher powered solar panel that will most likely use single core MC4 connectors. Internet searches for a wiring solution to connect these two types of cables failed. The complete silence from KISAE Technology on any issue using different forms of communication leads me to recommend anyone serious about Solar backup power to seek some other solution than this one.
