Definitely recommended!!
Received Jan 2015 with a use-by date of Jun 2016 (very good!). Tea is packed in two 40-bag foil packets per each 80-bag box. It is aromatic and smells good. I was afraid this would be too astringent, but it is not. A 16-ounce cup made with 1tea bag steeped a few minutes made a strong, barely transparent (not muddy), reddish brew (the color of the box) with a round, determined mouth-feel, malty, fruity overtones, no bitterness, and only mild astringency. This tea is assertive and secure in its identity, yet well-mannered and not aggressive. It was pleasantly drinkable without additives, but durable enough to do well with milk, Silk creamer, sugar, or lemon. One bag would make 24 ounces of tea easily, as a second 16-ounce cup made with the same bag was still pleasantly drinkable and not bitter, even though weaker than the first. (The second was about the strength of what you get with a bag of Twinings U.S..) The less intense brew would do well of an afternoon, with the stronger definitely suiting a morning.

Delicious
The taste of this tea took me back decades, to my childhood and young adulthood in Wales. Always delicious, never bitter. One teabag in the teapot makes two good size cups. Diolch yn fawr am te hyfryd.Recently noticed that the cost of the 6 pack is now over $52, up from $36. Quite an increase.

My new favorite.
My longtime favorites -- Lifeboat and Murphy's Irish Breakfast Tea -- have now been replaced by this excellent Welsh brew. The Welsh have long been known for making a bracing cuppa. Glengettie must be a major reason why. It's strong, but without a hint of bitterness. (If you are a fan of Earl Grey, Glengettie might be a bit too strong for your taste.) Remember: warm the teapot/cup/mug before adding the tea -- and make sure the water is boiling before pouring it on the tea, taking the teapot/cup/mug to the kettle -- and not the other way around. George Orwell (yes, that George Orwell) wrote the definitive essay on tea making in 1946. If you're serious about getting the best from your Glengettie, look it up on the internet.

Makes A Proper Cuppa!
Being Welsh, this is my favourite tea and I'm so glad I can get it in the US. A little stronger than most teabags but still smooth and refreshing. Always makes me feel like I'm back at home whenever I make a cuppa!

My favorite everyday tea.
I switched to Glengetti from PG Tips when I lived in Wales for a time and it quickly became my favorite everyday tea. For years it was super hard to get in the US, and quite expensive, so to have it available here for such a good price is wonderful. Always arrives well packaged and in the familiar dual language box. Makes a great cuppa, just like I remember.

A Great, Very Strong, Very Dark Tea from Wales
If you like your tea really dark and very strong, this is it! It takes milk very well. They're in sealed bags of 40 each.I've tried a great many different brands from all over the world and this is my favorite. A very dark, rich, flavorful cup of tea.
