ouch
Confiscating a Shroud, the device that makes power cores, the Forge could create even more powerful weapons and defenses. It was now almost a fleet in itself. That comes with new options. Just in time, because Verity has new challenges. A shipyard building a fleet and mechs of their own. It was a very costly battle.

More Allies, Technology, and Danger
Book 6 surges forward with the same sense of purpose and intensity of the previous books. The reader is introduced to new technologies, and new allies. I like that the answer is not always easy or linear, and that characters continue to be developed. This book ends positively, looking to the future and with a promise for the reader.

The Messenger - Book 6
Worlds Apart is another fantastic addition to the Messenger series. The war continues, Dash and crew are growing, creating and taking the fight to the enemy. While the enemy grows more sophisticated and more dangerous, Dash and his army keep coming out on top. Most of the time I was swept up in the narrative, completely unaware of time, which is how a good action story should affect you. But at one point, my consciousness expanded and I was aware of the breadth of the story, and the depth of JN's control. I remember wondering at something that had just happened and how it was handled. I thought: "This guy's a genius!" The plot, the strategy and the conversations are masterful.I am continually stunned at how profligate JN is, how many stories he cranks out , especially with collaboration, and how quickly. Even at what would seem to be an incredible pace, the stories are always superbly crafted and complete. You won't be sorry to start on this series, or anything that he writes. If it says "JN Chaney" on it, it's a winner!

Good story
Enjoyed the story. Same issues as previous books in the series. To much swearing and several typos. But, over all a fairly good story

Great series
Yup! I really enjoy this series. Yes, it is good versus bad, but well scripted and thought out. Strong characters and their struggles to defend humanity, Be it humans gone sour or aliens determined to wipe out humanity. Of course out heroes are the underdog both in strength and equipment/technology. But our heroes are driven and adaptable!

World's Apart J.N. Chaney. Terry Maggert
Dash and his crew are on a roll. They can now start to see the other side of the street. They have taken heavy losses, good friends, fighting for their freedom from the Golden and the species that fight in the Golden's behalf. There goal total submission or annihilation of all humans and anyone who fights with them. The followers of Dash, the Messenger? Freedom. Another excellent read in this series!! Enjoyed!!!

Now we're getting into the filthy part of War
I'm not on the payroll of the authors, but this book has a sublime mix of the storyline (with added twists and turns), humour (essential) and character development required to keep the reader involved.Book 6 done in a day, now onto book 7. This one might take a few days as back to real life...

Another great book in the series
I love the battle action in these books. There is lots of excitement. The plot flows without a lot of side Story. The characters are believable and easy to invest in. Can't wait to read the next book.

More space opera mayhem!
So, The Messenger, Dash and his team are going to take the war to The Golden. But first they have to defeat The Verity. Lots of action and the rescuing of more humans held by the Verity. Hopefully some of those rescued will join the Cygnus forces and help the fight against The Golden.

Have a read.
Have a read. You may find you will enjoy though I say start at the beginning you will be glad you did. As for those that already have then if you enjoy dash and his crew then you won't be disappointed I am hoping the covid stuff has not delayed the launch of the next books. Read and enjoy
