Pros: Absolutely stunning artwork by Dan Mora. His characters are so expressive and with even more amazing action scenes. I think that the story has a very interesting twist on the mythology of King Arthur. What if Arthur was evil? That question alone was enough for me to pick up the comic.Cons: The first few issues are a complete info dump on the mythology of King Arthur. The main character does a good job asking the right questions, but there are so many questions that a lot of stuff can be easily forgotten. If you don't know much about King Arthur, this can lead the reader to be completely lost in certain spots. The pacing is also a bit too fast in the first part which is also is an issue with the amount of info that is given to youOverall, I think if you have good reading comprehension, and can understand the first few issues, the rest of the story shouldn't be an issue for you.

For fans of fantasy and if you love the mythology of King Arthur this is a fantastic read.

The illustrating deserves five stars. The story is kind of lame.

Some of the dialogue seemed awkward in the early part of the book. Probably wouldn't buy it again.

....purtroppo viziato alla base.Andando con ordine e senza fare spoilers.Pro :- l'opera a parità di prezzo si presenta voluminosa, con un'ottima rilegatura e un eccellente qualità della carta,- i disegni sono curati e dettagliati, tanto da poter rivaleggiare con gli artisti piu' navigati di altre case di fumetti,- la palette cromatica è buona, con toni cupi alternati a chiari che mettono in evidenza il passaggio tra il mondo reale ed il mondo fantastico.- la storia si presenta come "fantasy nel reale", dove gli elementi fantastici si scontrano e si sovrappongono alla realtà quotidiana, il tutto in accordo con il folclore delle Isole Britanniche.Contro :- Personaggi, sono scritti-presentati in modo pessimo, con una scarsa evoluzione ed una mancanza di progressione durante tutto l'arco narrativo,- L'antagonista principale, non è chiaro se sia realmente tale, sembra piu' una vittima del proprio ruolo considerate le circostanze,- Il tema proposto, quello dell'isolazionismo e di un ritorno in chiave sovranista ad una "Britannia per i veri Britanni", per quanto buono ed intrigante, non viene mai approfondito ma resta sempre sullo sfondo perdendosi tra i vari combattimenti.Complessivamente :- Di base la storia non sarebbe malvagia, visti i continui riferimenti al folclore anglosassone e con una sovrapposizione tra il reale e l'immaginifico che prende in prestito le meccaniche della Mitologia Celtica-Gallese e le saghe inerenti a Re Artu' e ai Normanni.Purtroppo però alla pessima scrittura dei personaggi si accompagna anche un pesante vizio di fondo rappresentato da quello che sembra uno schiacciante femminismo di stampo woke.In questa storia infatti, se un personaggio è maschio sarà inevitabilmente un'idiota per quanto potente e finirà per essere pestato-divorato-mutilato nella maniera peggiore possibile, sia che si tratti di un antagonista sia che si tratti di uno dei buoni.Le donne invece, pare siano quelle sempre sagge, forti e capaci anche quando si comportano da psicopatiche, anche contro ogni buonsenso.Peccato perchè sarebbe potuta essere una bella serie ma onestamente non me la sento di consigliarla...troppi difetti.

Artwork is excellent and the build quality is good. There were about 3 instances in the story that took me out due to over saturation of current day politics, I want escapism in my entertainment. The rest of the story is high action fun and I'm still looking forward to volume 2.

La historia es increíble sobre todo si conoces la mitología de Reino Unido lo que la enriquece aún más. Si no la conoces es un buen momento para investigar el tema. El arte de Dan Mora está increíble. Lamentablemente me tocó que la edición tuviera unos detalles de impresión pero nada grave.

Conseguí los primeros dos volúmenes que habían sacado y los ame pero cuando iba a comprar el tercero ví esta edición y quedé enamorado es una belleza el acabado y diseño de la portada el arte es tan bello y la historia es epica

Excelente historia, entretenido y una edición muy bien curada. Lo malo es la forma de envío en Mexico ya que no cuidan los productos o simplemente ya vienen rotos y aún así los envían. Gracias a Amazon y su servicio al cliente pude cambiarlo y la nueva edición llegó en mucho mejor estado.
