I used this when traveling with some heat-sensitive medications. I used a small, wide-mouthed, vacuum insulated "bottle." The bottle was circular so I put the warm ice pack into the bottle, wrapped around a spacer for the meds, and then froze them all together. When it was time to go, I removed the spacer and put in the meds. It kept the meds cold for more than half a day. I had no problem with TSA inspection at the airport as they could clearly see what it all was.

We use these to chill our baby’s milk while on any outing and it keeps it extremely cold for at least 8 hours. Never had one split or leak!

One of the little packs leaked after several uses and being put in a quart-size freezer zipped bag with 2 others, several times over in freezer and then lunch cooler box, but overall would buy again in bigger size. I put them through a lot.

It does not stay cold very long.

This is a great product! I had a different brand previously and it swelled up like a balloon when it was frozen. This one stayed flat and MEPS my medicine cold for hours!!!

These fit perfectly into Medport insulin case we purchased it for. They were equal to or better than the originals. From our experience these are not leak proof forever.

Make sure to check closely for size! I use these for back and neck pain, as they last forever and do an excellent job without the mess of melting ice and leakage. However, these are way too small for my needs. They work very well for very small ice chests like the Igloo Playmate.
