NeilMedSinus Rinse - A Complete Sinus Nasal Rinse Kit With 60 Premixed Packets

NeilMed worked perfectly cleaning out my sinuses. Easy to use and comfortable.I went online first before purchasing. This NeilMed has the highest reviews.It's a simple little bottle and doing better than all its high tech motorized competitors. I use NeilMed once a day and my sinuses are completely cleaned out after every use.

This was recommended by ENT after priir sinus/nasal surgery to soften the crust around the scar. Previously steroid sprays had been tried due to suspected confounding allergies, but this surprisingly worked much better. Its great at softening those crust boogers (yuk) but also for flushing out the allergens from your nasal passages. I thought I would want to buy an additional netti pot or similar but the squeeze bottle system worked fine. Note that you need distilled water to mix with the packets for best results.

I suffer from Sinusitis and Allergies. I had at least one Sinus and/or ear infection every year. I have tried every brand of saline solution and even tried homemade recipes. It cut the infections down to one a year, depending on the humidity and allergens, maybe more. My ear canals are very narrow and hold fluid. My ear drums have ruptured so many times that tubes are not necessary. My ear drums have permanent infection holes. On to the good part:Ode to NeilMed! How I love thee! Let me count the many ways:1. Use the entire bottle squirt bottle full of distilled water, heat in microwave for 30 seconds, add the powder packet, cover hole in cap with finger, and shake the bottle to mix. Distilled water is 92 cents a gallon at Walmart.2. I cover one nostril with thumb and sniff with the other nostril while squirting some of the rinse up the open nostril. Repeat on other side. This clears the nose to throat canal. Spit out the rinse that goes into your throat and don’t swallow it.3. I place my thumb to seal one nostril and squirt the rinse up the other nostril. This forces the rinse into my ear canal. Repeat on other nostril. This method flushes out the bad fluid buildup behind my ear drums and stops the wretched infernal itching. I can hear better too. Having fluid buildup in your ears is trying to hear under water. Having warm fluid buildup in your ears causes bacteria and viruses to grow. Fire any ENT or doctor who tells you there is nothing you can do about fluid in your ears.4. NeilMed does not dry out your sinuses. There will be no cracking, caking, or bleeding from dried sinuses from daily use.5. You can use this product as many times a day as you need. It will wash out any clumps, cakes, and goo and it moisturizers to prevent clumps, cakes, and goo. I have used it 3 times a day when Allergies and/or Humidity peaks with no side effects, just sweet relief.6. I have not had a sinus or ear infection since I started using NeilMed twice a day, every day. I will be back to tell you if I get through a whole year without a sinus or ear infection for the first time in my life.I would give this one 10 stars if I could and I don’t know how I ever did without it. This was recommended to me by a friend because I get severe sinus blockage. I didn't like the idea of the neti pot, so this seemed like a much better option. It's simple to use and very effective! Don't hesitate on this one!

Helps sinus problems and was easy to order at a good price too.

I was recommended this product by the doctors and my friend who recently had septoplasty surgery. The NeilMed Sinus rinse got me through the roughest 2 weeks of recovery I’ve ever had after surgery. It takes a little getting used to before getting the hang of spraying the water mixed solution from one nostril into the other. However, once you’re finally comfortable with using it, the feeling of getting all that blood and gunk out of your nose is unimaginably amazing. You can feel it cleaning the inside of your nose as it flows through. It work much better than a regular Neti Pot as there is more pressure to the spray when you squeeze the bottle. I still use it now for allergies as it’s a great way to upkeep the cleanliness of your nostrils in general.

I was given this at a doctors office and although I am able to use a netti pot, this is something I can easily use over the sink without making a big mess and it seems easier to use for those who are intimidated by the netti pot. Highly recommend!
