If I could give 6 stars, I would
Wow. I had never heard of quantum psychiatry before this book but picked it up, as I’m very interested in the learnings into the brain that have taken place over the last decade. I am so glad I did. This is one of those books that pulls several ideas and strands together into one. It’s based on Einstein’s theory of quantum physics but also brings in an element of philosophy - is our brain just matter or thoughts? It turns the western medicalisation of the brain and the body on its head. While I have studied quantum physics, the author explains the concepts in language and examples that makes it understandable for all.The idea is that the body and brain, as matter, have several energies to it and that different treatments treat different energies. It also helps explain why things can just seem to “fall into place”. This book has given me a renewed sense of energy about my own life. Thank you.

Read but verify
It should be understood that Quantum Psychiatry is looked upon as quackery by many in the medical and physics community. That said, Dr. Biswas presents her position lucidly, sincerely, and mostly objectively. She writes well and clearly. The problem is that many of the studies she sites are at best controversial or refuted elsewhere. Her contention that Psychiatry’s and Physic’s interpretations of Quantum Theory are largely analogous is at best a stretch,Fact checking is tedious and time consuming. Dr. Biswas is presenting a contrasting and controversial approach to understanding and treating mental disease. She is under no obligation to do comparative analysis. Yet, I worry about readers who approach this sort of proselytizing with little sophistication. By, the way Einstein, quoted well and frequently, had little to do with the development of Quantum theory. She is on strongest grounds when showing how little is truly known about mental illness and its treatment . The good doctor is certainly doing no harm; and if her methods bring relief and peace to those suffering they should be explored.

I LOVE this book!
This book resonated with me so deeply. As a nurse, I live in a world of conventional medicine and therapies. However, conventional medicine has its limitations. The power of the mind and the energy it possesses to heal is explained so beautifully and thoroughly in this book. I cannot recommend it enough!

We are connected to everything and everything has always been within us all along!
Dr. Biswas has chosen a path of no return and the reader will no longer view human potential in the same way again! There are those that follow the traditional path and then there are those who listen intently to their heart. Each chapter begins with a quote from one of the greatest minds of our time to inspire the reader to look inward. A gem for anyone interested in going beyond the conventional! You are more than what you have been led to believe! -AB

Brilliantly written with a powerful message
Absolutely brilliant. Dr Biswas explains complex ideas in a simple ways which is not easy.I was thrilled to see so many of my idols quoted from Dispenza and Chopra to Brayden and Sheldrake, to name a few. The amount of time and research gone into this book would have been phenomenal. These ideas really shine the light on the future of Psychiatry and I look forward to the day that mainstream Science recognises quantum psychiatry as the pioneering field that it is. Where drug free Psychiatry can be commonplace.I’m really excited to start the chakra meditations - what a great addition, thank you!!

A refreshingly new approach to psychological healing.
...... it is about time we think differently....I find this book a potential game changer in the field of psychiatry which is filled with volumes of books repeating the same message but no meaningful difference in outcome. Having gone through similar experience during my training in psychiatry, I find the first few pages of the book quite relatable and it got me instantly hooked on to continue reading. It feels like an honest expression from the writer, something which most of us in the field of psychiatry have always felt but wont dare to accept, even in private or to ourselves . It expose the impostor like feeling most of us get when we pretend to be "the know it all expert" with our clients. I surely want to know more about this field after reading this book. The division of the book in three section catering to different types of readers, the sceptic, the curious one or someone looking for the answers to the problems in their lives, the book definitely offers a fresh perspective. An inclusive book, a must read for all involved in helping people with psychological needs.. As Dr Biswas aptly says "are you willing to take the quantum leap?". Well, I surely have..... Happy reading.
