Bought these for sports, they're light and seem well made. Favorite feature compared to others is that you can open the waist and the front with a zipper. Runs a bit small, bought an L and I'm 32" size and would have appreciated an extra inch of waist slack.

At the interest of being pun-y, these things saved my buns (literally) more than once! I have an 8 year old who just started playing hockey. I, myself, am a hockey fanatic and always wished I could have played when I was a kid so, I took his new interest as an opportunity to learn how to skate myself. Needless to say, gravity is not your friend at nearly 6' and 200 lbs. In fact, based on the bruise my backside suffered during our first roller hockey adventure, I'd say it downright hates me. So I purchased these for my learn to skate ice skating class and they were super duper clutch. First, the bad. They run super small so I would advise gettings 1-2 sizes bigger than what you think you need. And the velcro at the waist is pretty uncomfortable. Other than that, these things are terrific. They fit snug, breathe really well, are comfy under pants/shorts (please don't wear them as pants alone, baby. For all of us, please). But most of all, when gravity grabs you and pulls you down, they do exactly what they are designed to do. And I cannot tell you how much more confidence that gives you on the ice and the pavement when you know, if you're going down, you're not going to burst a cheek when you do. I highly recommend these. They would be perfect for literally any sport where you might fall. Happy adventuring everyone!

I got these for skiing as I’m a bit rusty. I hurt my tailbone last time. These made every wipeout very comfortable and still gave me confidence when I tumbled around in the snow. Fit nicely under my snow gear which I was worried about because I bought my snow suit true to size and thought maybe I didn’t have enough room underneath the pants. My husband also got a pair for snowboarding. I ordered an XL according to size because I was almost borderline in between the large. Went the safe route and ordered up but I could have probably fit the large. The XL gave extra stretch in the groin and thighs. I’m usually a women’s US 8.

I wanted to like this product because I purchased it for roller skating. The material looks like great cushioning for taking a fall on cement or hard snow.It runs REALLY SMALL. Definitely not recommended if you are thicker or have hips. material of the short itself is more of a stretchy cotton, and not a stretchy bike short material. Because of this, I don’t think it’ll hold up very well over time.The biggest bummer is I can’t return it.

I am a women I wore this to go ski-ing and I put it over my base layer and under my ski pants. I flew through the air and landed face first in a pile of snow and I didn’t feel it at all. I also skateboard and as a women who wears shorts a lot I wish I would have found these sooner for practice to avoid a lot of annoying briuse question. While wearing ski-ing no one noticed. I would like a jump suit other than that product works very well as described.

Shorts add a great layer of protection and help to build confidence in young riders. By removing the fear of pain, they ride much better.

I would not recommend these. They do not disperse the energy from an impact as well as the CRS brand or others with cushioning foam. The foam in the Soared and similar brands are much too firm and stuff. I had these as my spare ones that I wore while visiting in Florida. When I fell back because someone skated into me, I felt much more jarring and could not get up right away. Usually, I wear the CRS pads at home and when I have fallen back on those, I was able to get up right away and did not have any pain afterwards. But with this Soared brand I have still not been able to skate again after five days and still have pain when I sit down or squat, cough or sneeze. They are also uncomfortable with the Velcro closure because it can touch your skin. I recommend the CRS brand or Skating Spirit brands instead for ice skating as an adult.
