Eye opening book about Belgium in the World wars.
We visit War Commision cemeteries every year. Knew little about Belgium in the Wars. Speaking to local farmers and soldiers at the Menim Gzte in Ypres made me want to know more. Very good book.

Up close and personal during the invasion of Belgium
This is a very readable account of the first four months of the invasion of. Belgium in 1914. The author admits to being not entirely accurate in everything he reports, but he nevertheless provides a thorough account of the events. There is some understandable propaganda included, but also a lot of detail I have never come across before. Highly recommended for anyone interested in this campaign.

Very interesting
I'd been looking for a book on Belgium in 1914 for some time following the German invasion at the beginning of WW1. This was interesting because it was a correspondents account and views of what was happening and a descriptive account of the trials and tribulations of the Belgian Army and the appalling treatment by the German Army to the civilians of Belgium.
