Another great book in this series. These two really are so frustrating. I love their relationship its just frustrating. The scenes with Evie are some of my favourites she's just adorable. Moving onto the last book of the series now.

Great addition to the series
Read this one in two days, and loved every page. Great addition to the series, even if both MCs are behaving very badly towards each other most of the book. Usual underlying feels and angst though, demonstrates how gone they are over each other. Love the interaction with Hazard’s parents, can just hear his mother calling him Bunny, and how incongruous that sounds knowing Emery as we do. Somers’ father awful as usual, but Hazard’s solution at the end seemed apt and deserving. Saw Hazard's father from a different perspective, are we seeing Ree in decades to come, but for John's influence perhaps? Neither MC has a great relationship with their father, and this episode in the series was worth exploring. Highlighted by laugh out loud moments such as:“Whatever train of thought Hazard had been trying to catch, it had now officially left the station without him. He swallowed a scream, opened his mouth, and was about so say something – he wasn’t sure what, but he knew it had to do with half a Luna bar – but his father spoke first. “Jumping Jesus, can’t a man die in peace around here?”Gray’s character just continues to fall in my estimations, and I can’t help thinking he’s going to get worse, poor Darnell, really deserves better. The missing persons case was a sub-plot to what was happening with our cast of characters this time. Didn't connect with any of the group of friends, not a sympathetic one amongst them this time, unlike Wesley and Mitchell in earlier books. Melissa's psychobabble insights to our MCs great barbs though, triggering Hazard's anger management issues.Roll on Keeper of Bees, gulp... I think. Glad to see books 2 and 3 on Audible now, snapped them up for re-reads later.

Another gripping instalment in the series...
4.5 stars from me for this filled to the brim with angst grown-up H & S story. I despaired at times over them and some of the other characters. Blackmail, murders, and more missing people...I honestly wanted to throttle both Ree and John, really hurtful and some downright nasty things were said on both sides [when they communicated properly at all] and as for Gray Dulac? Well, it has to be said he wasn't my favourite character in the first place...a very childish 'man' who obviously couldn't accept that Somers was/is totally in it for the long haul with Ree, and a pseudo stalker to boot! And for heavens sake, I know that John still craves his dreadful father's approval in all things [he'll never say anything nice John and really mean it], but for him to agree to move out and pretend he wasn't still with Ree just to keep things sweet with his father's mayoral campaign was possibly a step too far for me.The Keeper of Bees makes another appearance, and I wasn't happy that it happened whilst Ree was at the touching little remembrance ceremony for Rory Engels. What will Naomi Malsho do now that that poor excuse for a person Glennworth Somerset is Wahredua's mayor? Will Ree's being an internet sensation affect everything from now on? It wasn't all misery and darkness in this story, there were some funny moments but I would class this as a grown-up story in this series. So many unanswered questions...hopefully The Keeper of Bees will provide all those answers and more...

Fantastic book
Contains spoilers.Hazard and Somers both go through a lot in this book.Somers father asks him to move out of the house he shares with Hazard to help him win the mayoral election (Being in a same sex relationship would not look good to the voters Not the kind of votes I would want) Even though I understand Somers reasons for agreeing to it he shouldn’t have done it.It was nice seeing Hazards relationship with his mother and Somers did redeem himself by going to the hospice where Hazards father was dying.Hazard did really go through a lot in this book He also became an internet sensation which I think he always deserved to be.Grey Dulac who I have never liked showed his true colours in this book and there is only one word for him STALKER. What kind of person keeps photos of someone on their computer in a secret file. Hope Somers doesn’t give him another chance he cannot be trustedAlready wishing my life away waiting for the next book The Keeper Of Bees .If you haven’t read any of these books please start at the very beginning you won’t be disappointed.

This is a brilliant series and must be read in order....I shall really hurt when it finishes.
Since discovering Gregory Ashe with the Hazard and Somerset series, I have read everything the poor author has written so far and am still baying for more. I love his realistic narrative and Hazard and Somers are a perfect couple, partly because they're not! Somers, seems to be the man with everything; looks, social skills, rich parents but all he wants is to be truly who he is and loved for it. He needs the patience of a saint with Emery Hazard; gorgeous, but thinks that is rubbish, grumpy, anti social and seemingly harsh. However, a very lucky few forge through his shell to the vulnerable, loyal, loving, hurt man he is inside and then the journey is more than worth it. Although, there is a murder mystery to be solved, Wayward is more about love, separation and finding your way back, if it is meant to be.The Keeper of the Bees is the last in this Hazard and Somerset series and comes out in July. I may re read the whole series in preparation!

Brilliant
Yet again this book hits all the right buttons. John and Emery are both places in a very bad situation by John’s selfish father. He’s running for mayor and pressures John into a situation that causes Emery so much heartache it’s just cruel, I really dislike the man. Emery the sweetheart is hurting and to top it all he’s got a murder to deal with and get proof to convict the killer. I’ve already pre-ordered the next book and can’t wait for it, the Keeper of Bees is back!

Progressing
John's father meddle s in their relationship and begins rumours that are set to destroy Emery's reputation but Emery finally gets the better of of him. There is just a hint that the Bee Keeper has unfinished work.
