Is this product grass feed?

All cattle are grass fed, they cannot survive on corn, soy, etc. The real issue is are they 100% grass fed, i.e. grass finished. If it does not say that, the cattle are probably finished in a feed lot.

What's the flavor like compared to other tallows?

The flavor is very mild, but pleasant. I use it to make pemmican

On opening the container it has a very faint odor of beef fat. When it is heated in a frying pan with potatoes it has the odor of a grilling steak.
