Cleverly designed, versatile compact tripod
I've been shopping for lightweight, small travel tripods, and I'm so glad I got this cleverly designed tripod. It will easily fit in a suitcase. It's sturdy and will support my Nikon - but for best stability with this heavier camera, it seemed wise to open the legs to a wider stance. (In fact, the legs can open all the way flat.) For a GoPro, it's perfect. The legs open and lock easily. I rigged the post with an inexpensive small ball head and a Manfrotto quick-release adapter/plate I had on hand. Conveniently, you can open the top piece and choose which end of the screw goes up - 1/4-inch or 3/8-inch - so you can easily add a head of your choice. The legs come with rubber feet or optional metal spikes. The fact that this particular configuration comes in two pieces makes it easier to carry; it folds up tightly because there's no center column on the tripod to stow. Both pieces fit in the included bag, which I can stuff in an outside pocket of my Think Tank Mirrorless Mover Backpack. And you can always use the stick as a short monopod with the proper head on it. SHORT is the operative word here; it extends almost to 26" tall. This would be a great tabletop tripod. I used it on a wide windowsill, for example. But it's also fine for outdoors if you don't mind getting a lower angle on your subject. I mostly expect to shoot the sky with a GoPro, and it'll be fine for that. This was a reasonably priced piece of gear that's perfect for travel or tooling around town.

Solid and compact
Actually surprised by the high quality and how sturdy it is. I use a giant spotting scope (Vortex Viper HD 20-60x85) on it for table top spotting. Super light. We'll see how it performs over time.

Maybe the best small tripod out there.
This is my second one of its kind from Sirui. They are to me, the best small tripods out there. Just amazing quality even putting the price aside. I have lots of their stuff now as I am quite impressed with their products. This little guy is super strong. Not the lightest obviously, but wow is it made nice. It functions without issue and holds a ton for its size. When you compare with the price on top of all this, it’s a no brainer. The only thing that should stop you from getting this is if you need to carry a tripod around in your wallet. This won’t fit. For everything else, it’s the bomb.Recommended.

Carbon Fiber Mini-Tripod is lightweight yet sturdy
Tripod is great - well build with good adjustment. Nice carrying case comes with it. It would be nice if there was storage for the allen wrench built into the tripod in order to keep it all together. Need to use allen wrench to tighten screw to hold down camera, or spotting scope. Used it with Gosky spotting scope and also with cell phone. Bought holder and remote for Samsung Note and it works great.

Absolutely tiny, and sturdy. Holds my Canon R5 + 100-500mm
I am very impressed with this tiny tripod. I was travelling to Washington DC, and there are a lot of rules about tripods, so I wanted something I could stash inside my camera bag. I used it with two extensions (SL-100 & SL-200) and set the legs to the 2nd position to widen the stance. This setup gave me a waist high tripod that held my camera + 100-500mm lens and was quite stable. I obviously didn't use it where it was restricted, but I had no problems with security carrying it in my backpack in the various museums and government buildings. The head was small, but more than adequate. It came with a 1/2 sized ARC plate which was perfect. The head has a safety release, which was welcome at this price point. It held and locked my Peak-Design QR plate well. Held the weight of the camera well.Whole setup (Tripod, 2 extensions, head, plate) weighed just over 2.3lbs and fit in an area only 9" x 4" x4"...Smaller than my big lens.I have a feeling that this will come in very handy when I want to go backpacking with my small star tracker. This setup will not replace a full-sized tripod in every situation, but it makes a heck of a platform for ultra light or space limited setups.

Excellant little tripod
Very small but very sturdy, easily fits in water bottle pouch on my bag. Arca Swiss plate. Excellant value with leh extensions, leg angle adjustments, and all metal.
