Easy to use. Doesn’t torque sections of the spoke.
Also makes easy to see if the spoke is aligned

Great for tapered spokes.
Worked great enabling me to true up a carbon wheel with a deep rim and tapered spokes.

Worked fine
I had a bladed spoke on my Mavic Heliums and one was out of position, causing an immense amount of drag during every rotation. I was able to twist that spoke back with this with no problem whatsoever. Of course, I turned the nipple at the same time, the same amount so that I did not change the tension of the spoke.

Must have for bladed spoke wheels
I bought this tool because I had to replace a broken blade spoke. I originally used an adjustable wrench to hold the spoke from rotating when tightening. This did work, but was cumbersome to use. The adjacent spokes were in the way to properly align the spoke. Hey the reason to have bladed spokes is to cut down on the wind resistance, so alignment is critical. This tool allows for proper orientation with no interference. It also has 4 different width slots to accommodate 4 different thickness spokes. This is a must have for those with blade spokes. BTW... ROL hand built (USA) wheels are awesome. The broken spoke was from catching a fallen branch between spoke and frame. SMACK

Solid product
A very nice tool, typical of Park. The hard resin doesn't scratch spokes, and it holds them firmly in place. I was a little worried that tool wouldn't hold enough of the spoke length to feel comfortable, but this is fine. The four spoke widths are useful--checking the bikes in my garage, I found that I had 3 different spoke widths. The tool can also be located immediately under the spoke wrench to make sure there's no torque applied to the spoke. Very comfortable in the hand.

Good to a point
This is great for keeping blades spikes straight as you true the wheel…until you’re dealing with over-tight or ‘stuck’ spokes — in that case it isn’t robust enough to prevent the twisting forces from taking over.

Simple and Effective
This tool is both very simple and effective in holding bladed spokes in the correctly oriented position while adjusting the spoke tension while simultaneously turning the spoke nipple. The tool is also large enough to be comfortable for extended use. A must have in the wheel builders toolset.
