Colorforms My First Miss Weather Set

I was so excited to see Colorforms again. I bought this for my about to turn 3 yr old granddaughter. It was supposed to be a birthday present in November but I couldn't wait so we opened it to play with it yesterday. My only criticism would be that it was a little difficult for her to peel the pcs off the sheet. However, once they were peeled off than she could move them around just fine.

The colors are bright and fun. Entertainment value is great. The size is perfect. The quality is good. It is definitely made for a three year-old. My granddaughter is two and I introduced her to this color form. She really enjoyed it. Didn’t quite get the concept of weather or close. But we had fun. I will definitely save this for her for another six months and try it with her again.

I got this from a free group on Facebook. And then decided to buy the same one off Amazon for my granddaughter. So my little daughter and my granddaughter can play together with thesis they FaceTime, since they don't live close to each other.This is a great to. As with most cardboard boxes, it gets trashed pretty quick. You probably want to reinforce the box before that happens or plan to have something else to store it in.* Side note* I canceled this order because my older daughter wanted to me get My granddaughter a learning calendar instead. Which I was totally down for. But that takes a lot more research to find the right one... Well a long story short this thing showed up at their door anyways. For some reason the order cancellation didn't go through. But it was a great surprise for my granddaughter who was just diagnosed with pneumonia right before this arrived. So I'm thinking God for this unexpected blessing. Cheered her up for sure. And I actually had originally ordered it when she was already starting to get sick because I thought it would be a great theme for her to have while she has to sit around and lay around and try to recover.Keeping this at a desk or table or storing it near a desk or table is my ad. I would never just let a kid keep this in the room unless they have a desk and there for it because all the pieces are going to be lost pretty much right away if they try to play with it on the floor amongst all their other random things.

My daughter loves this! She pulls it out to play with frequently, but I’ve noticed after just a couple months of use, all of the pieces have curled up making it hard to stick them to the board. They just curl up into themselves. It’s a bummer!

My kids loved Colorforms as children and when I saw this I thought it would be perfect for their kids. Can’t wait to give this to them for Christmas. It will be part of our busy box at Grandma’s house.
