I use to use an alpha hydroxy cream from Walgreens. They stopped making it so I found this one. It works great! It really doesn’t have a fragrance and you really would not want to put perfumes on your face anyway. I use it before I put my foundation on. It gives me enough moisture for the foundation to go on smooth. It also helps with the wrinkles and I have not had so much a bump on my face. I have read the bad reviews and those people are expecting over night results but be consistent and patient. It works great. You want a formula that has between 8-10 percent alpha hydroxy. I do not suggest a higher percent because it can burn your skin. This formula is perfect.

Just as good, or better, than higher priced alpha hydroxy face products!

I have been using this cream for a year. It has been amazing keeping my skin clear from breakouts and keeping it smooth. I opened up my latest jar, and immediately knew it was different. I used to love the slightly brown sugar smell of it, but this batch is definitely unscented. And the texture seems different. If I put it on and then it gets warm, my face starts to sweat profusely which is something the other formula never caused. I am leery of using it because I don't know if it will worsen my breakouts. And my face is broken out again. I am 56 years old and have had to deal with acne and breakouts since I was 13. It never ends.

Bought this towards end of spring. Works great. But when heat and humidity set in it's too heavy. I'll look for something lighter for the warmer months and go back to this in the cooler months.

This product do smell but I don't care, it goes away with time, I do buy JLo's products too. I never thought that this cream would help my neck n under my chin, amazing!!! Already bought a second one and also will buy a 3rd in case they stop selling them.

Absolutely amazing cream - I have stopped using other serums and have simplified my whole face routine by just using this. My skin has always been very touchy and I am 68 years old. This lovely cream causes no irritation problems whatsoever and is doing more than all the other lotions and potions I have ever bought over the years - I can't believe how wonderful my skin is looking and how well it responds to this cream. I hope Abbey never stops making this. I'm buying several jars at a time while her label misprint has caused the price to drop but will continue to buy even if the price goes up (please don't make it out of reach though!). Thank you. Update: Months and months later I STILL am loving this cream. I have actually had an embarrassing number of compliments - one from someone sitting close to me on a train that I hadn't seen in ages said I looked "so fresh and young"! Well, bring it on! And just in case someone wonders at my raving - I do not work for, know or in any way been paid to say these things. As for the reviews that mention "smell" of product, I don't notice any particular smell. My face hates scents in products so this must be low on that scale.

Strong smell of maple syrup. The seller lists water as the first ingredient but customer photos show aloe followed by completely different list of ingredients, and neither lists AHA. This makes me think there are two different products being sent to customers. I used this cream twice a day for a week and noticed no change, no reddening or peeling, nothing. I am now using a popular "scar cream" for face sold on Amazon and have seen dramatic old acne scar lightening which is what I was looking for. In this case I got what I paid for.
