Hello, Our pen works a wonder with any hot foil paper that are “specific” for hot foil pen. There are some hot foil papers are for printer or lamination machine only. If the foil paper is not for Hot Foil Pen, they might not be workable. Please select hot foil paper from our store. We will be adding many other colors selections. Q: Can this be used on a linen wrapped book?

Our Hot Foil pen can be used on linen. The higher density of the warp, the better the results. I sincerely hope you enjoy using our Hot Foil Pen.

Q: Will this transfer onto flat plastics?

I am sorry to reply you late, since our mail system got broken and miss your question. It is designed to write on plastic, but if the surface of plastic is too slippery or has thin film, the hot foil might not stay on. Please always test write first.
