GREAT PURCHASE - PROBLEM SOLVED! ! !
These are the best invention for annoying, always-getting-untied laces for children's shoes. The first one was rather hard to insert in the eyelet until I got the hang of it - then the installation went quickly. My granddaughter tried on her high-top sneakers immediately and they were great. Luckily, her sneakers have zippers too, but I don't think there would be a problem if there were no zipper. Next time I see lace-up shoes that I like, I now know I can buy them with confidence - I just have to order another set of these no-tie shoelaces (and they come in so many colors to choose from). I've always avoided lace-up sneakers because even when double-knotted, they untie several times during the day and my granddaughter is unable to tie them herself yet. And who wants to have to keep tying laces all day anyway? In addition to the solved untying problem, the "laces" now looks neat and clean all the time - compared to the white laces that came with the sneakers and looked dirty and old after the first wearing. I am SO HAPPY with this purchase. See the pictures I've attached. This is a great product. UPDATE: These lasted for a couple of years and did a great job on my granddaughter's sneakers. The problem is, now the shoes are too small and I would like to remove the no-tie shoelaces to use in another pair, but try as I can I am unable to remove these. I've tried with tweezers, pulling as hard as I can - I cannot remove them from the sneakers.

Great
Great product, works good. Took me like 15 minutes to put on my son’s shoes but work very well.

Look good, feel good, tough to install (advice in review)
I bought 4 sets of these for 4 pair of Puma sneakers. They really add color to the white/off-white pairs and provide a comfortable but not tight fit for each shoe. Previously, I had kept shoes tied but either tied loose enough or just not laced too high so that I could always just slide the shoes on and off already. These laces provide the same function with clean lines and the added color on the whites. I run daily and am still on the fence of whether to try a set in my running shoes. I tie those tighter but still in a way to slide on and off. I think they would work but maybe feel looser and that would matter more in my running shoes than in shoes I mostly just walk around in.Of the four pairs only one had lace holes large enough that lacing them with these elastic laces was easy. The other three took real effort and about 3-5 minutes per lace (so 15-20 minutes per shoe) just using my fingers (and a small screwdriver for glasses to help prod the lace through the hole). By the last shoe (so the third that was really difficult) I thought to use the normal laces I had just removed to help install the elastic laces. I put both ends of a normal shoelace 99% through a lace hole, leaving a small loop that I then placed around the tapered end of elastic lace then pulled the normal lace the rest of the way through the hole (which took some effort) pulling the tapered end of the elastic lace through the hole with it. This was MUCH quicker and easier, though I'd warn not to pull too quickly as I did break the end of one of the elastic laces by going too quickly/pulling too hard. I would say that if your shoes take a little bit of effort to push the plastic end of your normal laces through the lace hole, then these elastic laces will take some real work to install. If your shoes have large lace holes with plenty of room to fit your normal laces into then these elastic laces will still work well and will be a breeze to install.P.S. The elastic lace that I broke was one of the green ones at the top of the off-white shoes. I just pushed a small sewing needle through the end of the lace inside the shoe and so far it has worked just as well.

Stayed in place
Great purchase for my 4 year old that’s about to start school.A little difficult to place. Really got to push through whole and stretch.Did a test run and stayed in placed. Will see how long they last..Will be using more for school shoes and running shoes!

Tough to install, Not tough to break
The idea of these laces is great, but not exactly the best option in practice. Installation of the laces was a complete PITA! It is very tough to get these through the un-grommeted eyelets on both Vans and Nike shoes for two of my kids. Putting these into kids size 5 shoes had my finger tips in so much pain, I had to resort to using a pair of needle nose pliers to get them installed. Once installed, the fit of the shoe was fine, and both kids said it felt good. Pulling shoes off and on was not a problem at all.The reason we purchased these was that we had previously been gifted a set of rubber laces that had been very durable and lasted, so I was expecting the same from these... but alas I was wrong. Both children (9 year olds) broke multiple of these laces within a couple weeks. We eventually removed the rubber laces and went with a much easier to use elastic shoes laces from another vendor.

Perfect
I thrifted a pair of shoes for my son who wears a size 11 kids. He hasn’t quite mastered tying his shoes so we felt these was a good option for him to throw on quick. They are very elastic but still add a sturdy layer of security so the shoes don’t fall off! The color is also very bright and he loves them!

Strong
These were easy to put on the shoes and appear to be very strong. I don’t have any doubts that they will withstand my 5 year old’s adventures.
