Update- downgrade - Thank you Geeekpi?
Using the materials and instructions provided, the CPU is left NOT making contact with the heat sink.In order to insure that the cpu was making contact with the heat sink I had to use the pad meant for the eMMC chip and double up on the CPU otherwise I could see clear thru to the other side when everything was mounted. I had to redo 5 units and will probably do I all again once I get new pads.The heat sink is shaped to make contact with the important components of the Cm4 once the pads are applied. There’s even enough area on top to add a fan later if needed.NOTE: Someone wrote “x2pcs” next to the small controller chip to tell us to use two pads there.NOTE2: They should have included an extra pad for the CPU.-1 no response whatsoever to email-1 CPU not making contact with heat sink and/or having to not pad eMMC to make things work.
