simple, clean and fits my old watch well. the band width is for 17mm and my old watch was for 18 mm so there is bit of a wiggle room but not as much as I expected.

I used this style of watch band when I was young soldier. As a soldier, this watch band style provided some protection to your time piece, but our primary use was to reduce possible glare that would give away your position. As a civilian, I bought this item, partially for nostalgia, but also due to the fact that I'd just lost a watch face to a door knob, which broke the watch's face. This item is not for big bling watches, but works best for smaller watches. The design allows for the user to use the cover piece for protection, or the user can fold it back to appear like a normal watch band. It is not a designer watch band, but works better as a utilitarian watch band for sports and manual activities. It can protect against low impacts and is better than nothing.

I had some miltary watchbands from when I had a brother in law in the service. He sent me some one time from his Miltary supply shop when he could get them. So that company went out of business and I ran out of watchbands so the search was on to find something that would work for me. I wear my watch on the bottom side of my wrist so I needed and band that would cover that watch face and would get it up off my wrist. This watchband is really good for what i needed it for it worked for me on both counts so I ordered a few so I would have some on hand. These are great for me but may not be for everyone to take that in mind. Most folks don't like that it can be pulled off with a lot of pulling but it is better to have it come off than to have your hand get caught in something that you wished it did and it didn't. I like them just fine and will order more as I need them.

This is very similar to the watch band issued by the military that I had decades ago. It fits my Casio Twin Sensor watch perfectly. It seems extremely durable, well sewn but, time will tell. Just remember to measure accurately between the lugs of the watch (in mm.), for a perfect fit when ordering. If you don't, you'll have to trim & I don't think the velcro straps that fasten around the spring bars can be prevented from fraying & decreasing the life & durability of the band!

I ordered this band to protect a very high priced "work watch" I have. It is well built and serves the immediate function of protecting the face and elapsed time ring of the watch. However, my only complaint is that it does not have a "switch back" function for the watch face cover. By this, I mean you should be able to take the watch face cover-strap and attach it back (showing the watch face) as an option to having the watch face covered at all times. I have owned previous versions (this style but not this brand) that have this additional feature. I would suggest the makers offer this options. For me, I will sew a piece of velcro on the band so that I can have this option.....

This is for all of those people who think that the kind of band is for Smart Watch, Iphone watches and all of the other high price crappy watches. This band was designed for the Military. I bet you don't even know why it covers the face of the watch. NO, it is not to protect the watch from scratches, it is to protect the Soldier from getting kill by the enemy from the glare shining off of the soldiers watch. Enemy see glare, enemy kills soldier. ALL OF YOU ARE WANTING TO USE THIS BAND FOR THE WRONG REASON. AS FOR THE COVING BEING ABLE TO FOLD BACK, AGAIN THIS WAS DESIGNED FOR THE MILITARY. Go buy a watch band that was designed for you civilians.

I purchased a replacement for the original I bought in 2019, the Velcro has worn out. The replacement watch band Velcro won’t hold on the new item after only 2 weeks. I am very disappointed I this product.
