Works well
I use this thermostat to control the heat in the Upper and Lower compartments of an old refrigerator that I use a Hot Box for curing resin. Was easy to install and program. Controls the temperature range as needed. My only wish is for an on/off switch for each line as, at the moment, I have to reprogram it to a lower temp to turn it off when not in use.Recommended.

Good product with the really poor instruction
It served my purpose in what I needed, I used it as heat thermometer for my heater aquarium,no matter what the website tell you this sense prob they are not waterproof ,they will not last more than 3 months you put into them into water, the instructions is so bad it's like written by a two year old, other than that if you can get it to work it's pretty good.

Agrees within .2F to a Lab Grade Thermometer
Precise, Accurate, Feature laden and affordable. With a few drawbacks.I removed the back (and the warranty I'm sure) so here's some shots if you want to keep your warranty and still know what you are hooking to)Thermistors are epoxy potted and waterproof. Surprisingly, fairly quick response despite the epoxy. Well done thermistors, but should be on external connectors or screw terminals.Pros:Accurate to within .2deg F to 2 of my Vee Gee Scientific 83110 Lab Grade Thermometers (available on Amazon)Fahrenheit!! (Thanks Daniel Gabriel Fahrenheit)Affordable2 Controllers in one - Ideal for some applications.Easy to programBuilt in Compressor delay and alarms Major bonus here for some usersCons:Output contacts are internally tied to line, with a light duty NO only relay. So you're using a relay for most things - which I would anyway. (relays are rated 15A@120vac, but based on their size, I wouldn't expect them to live very long at those loads (see photo 2)Non-standard panel cutout/not really a panel mount - Why not??Flying leads, not screw terminalsThermistors - included, quite precise and on connectors if you open the controller, and ok to extend. Just use good practices and accuracy in NOT effected. (at least for reasonable distances, over that, you should be using a remote temp transmitter/controller combination). I prefer RTDs or even t-couples but for the price I can live with thermistors, it's a well done thermistor system. It's NOT industrial grade, which is why most of the cons exist, but it's not $250+ probes, so I can overlook some things.Final word: An excellent value, it does it's job well, and has options not usually found on hobby grade stuff. If it suits your needs, buy it! There are no Gotchas.PS, I'm a controls engineer who owned and operated an Industrial controls business for 30+ years, with temperature control one specialty of my company. I've since retired and used up all my spares, so find myself in a hobbyist market for the 1st time since the 70's.I tell you this so you know my credentials to review this (and other similar products).

Excellent thermostat for my use
This is an amazing little thermostat for the price. Yes, of course one must be careful when wiring this because it is not a normal 24V thermostat; it outputs mains (120V) voltage to 2 separate outputs based on the temperature settings for the 2 temperature probes. I set this up in a rather luxurious dog house to control 2 air circulation fans when hot and a heating mat to lie on when cold. It worked flawlessly from the start, and I have not found another mains voltage, 2 control thermostat like this one out there yet. A great find!

Outputs have power at all times
This is basically not a temperature controller but a power splitter. Both outputs have power supply at all times regardless of the temperature. The device is pretty easy at setting up the temperatures and the probes respond fairly quickly, but that doesn't mean anything if you can't control based off of the temperatures.

Dangerous! AVOID!
First up, I got lucky that I didn't kill myself testing this thing.I'm no stranger to dealing with electronics. For something that's mains powered I took all the precautions I usually do. Read the instructions which are terse and incomplete in a very significant way. Got out my multimeter and set it up on the bench to test the outputs. The unit powered up, displayed the temp, and both outputs defaulted to ON. The temp seemed reasonable accurate given the ambient temp in the room at the time, but that's as far as I got because a couple of the output leads that I thought were simple RELAY CONTACTS accidentally shorted and POP!THAT is when I realized that the outputs were live mains voltage and that this thing sitting on my bench was incredibly dangerous.I in no way expected that the mains neutral would be directly wired to the outputs. There is *NO PLACE AT ALL* that says that the outputs are directly wired to the mains and the fact that these things default to *ON* is an accident waiting to happen, and I'm very lucky I didn't have that accident!Going back and reviewing both the documentation and the product listing there's a photo that seems to suggest that the outputs are powered (e.g., a light bulb attached to the output), but I don't believe that was there when I originally ordered this thing.Because this has powered outputs with nearly zero safety measures they are both dangerous and completely unsuitable for my intended purpose. I had gotten this unit from Vine but there's another similar unit with humidity control that I also purchased. I'm going to try to return that to Amazon but if I can't they're both going in the TRASH.

Good Price Long Lasting -used to make homemade incubator
Still going strong, used to modernize a very old school wafer style incubator. Will definitely buy again for DYI projects. Pretty easy to install, only downside is converting Celsius to Feren height.
