Absolutely love this tea bowl, large enough for an avid tea drinker like me, the pattern is beautiful while being delicat.

The media could not be loaded. I've been an avid tea drinker for many years now and have slowly navigated towards using more traditional tea sets.Initially I was using a high quality gaiwan that was given to me as a gift, but broke it which made me sob internally!I was searching off amazon for Gaiwans that would hold the amount of tea the I craved for. Which led me to find a "temporary" solution. Bought this large blue Gaiwan and didn't think I would actually like it. But lo and behold I've just celebrated its 2 year anniversary! Still with me!The Pros, is that you can't really find large Gaiwans like this easily. The most commonly available ones are the smaller ones which fit for those of us with small hands, but not so much for us with large stomachs.The Cons, there is really no way to create any suction with the lid, this is a great indicator to determine whether it was made with precision, as can be seen here with the closeup photo there is no possibility that this was made with the same care as other Gaiwans.Additionally, due to the lack of precision with the creation of this Gaiwans, the pour, which is usually the most important part is inconsistent and splashes too wildly.To conclude, this isn't the sort of Gawain you want to show off to people, definitely not for any ceremony or gift. This is simply a simple and honest product that can make tea for when you need it.For £12, it's just alright :)And as Uncle Iroh said:“To be honest with you, the best tea tastes delicious, whether it comes in a porcelain pot or tin cup.”

Bought to make tea from a Chinese friend and the lid is a great addition to help filter out the tea leaves.

Excellent quality, the lid fits nicely with no gaps, I love it.At 10 oz it is humongous thus very useful for larger parties.

Das Aussehen ist wie beschrieben und ist sehr schön für Teetrinker.

Das Verpackungsmaterial ist sehr Fragwürdig so ein Lableträgerband ist nicht das Richtige.Trotzdem war der Gaiwan Karton in Karton verpackt Das Material ist sehr dünn und von daher wirds schnell heiß.Das Volumen von 300ml ist schlichtweg gelogen es sind nur 200 ml man macht es ja auch nicht randvoll.Macht man dann noch Tee dazu passen noch 160-170 ml in den Gaiwan.Ich habe mit einem Messbecher nachgemessen.Ich werde diesen Artikel zurückgeben da er nicht den Angaben entspricht.

I'm very happy with the quality of my first Gaiwan. It looks delicate, fragile, perfect. I'll put it on a shelf for now to decide if I want to stain and chip it. My realization now is that you can't own just one unless it's made of stainless steel. I'll have to buy more from you, is that okay?Thank you so much, take care.
