Not pleased with the product. Followed manufacturers steps on application... better to just use Teflon Tape.

This pipe thread sealant is excellent for severe environment applications. I needed a sealant that could withstand extended exposure to a liquid fuel (gasoline) environment and this product works very well. It is incredibly messy to use as it will get on everything as soon as you open the lid, no matter how careful you are. It costs quite a bit, but is worth the money for severe applicaitons.

Works very good on diesel and antifreeze fittings

Excellent stuff. Had a diesel leak at an aftermarket regulator I installed, that I suspect had pipe threads manufactured too large. NOTHING else I tried stopped it, including permatex specific for diesels. Don't remember how many I tried. I also tried using with teflon with the pipe joint compounds. Some say, one wrap of tape, then dope and then more tape and then more dope. All of that with permatex and others- still no good.Very frustrating. Researched and found this product. Though I did use the teflon combo method with #7 also (whether or not it would have worked alone, I do not know)- but it sealed it first time, like any pipe dope should.Use with METAL only, instructions say.

I like this product because it WORKS!!!I use this with Jet fuel.
