Not very bright, but I used them anyway
These do not shine very bright but they will light your way up the steps. I tried to use the sticky back, but those failed on a composite deck material. I ended up having to use the screws to hold them in place so that wasn't a big deal. I am okay with these but if you need more light, I would look at other options.

Just what I needed!!
I have a tiny Chihuahua with bad eye sight that was afraid to go down the stairs in the dark so I had to carry him but once I put these on the stairs he doesn't even hesitate anymore and I no longer have to carry him.

Well, these were a terrible purchase
Got these lights for my new backyard on Saturday. I installed right away and was so excited to see how wonderful they worked on night #1. The whole backyard fence area was illuminated and stayed bright until dawn the next day. "best purchase ever!" I thought. Night 2, I noticed that 2 of the lights were flashing on and off. Night 3, 4 of the lights were flashing quickly on and off. So, now 1/4 of the lights are not working properly and I will probably give it a few days before removing them and tossing in the trash.

Bought these for my mom and ended up ordering a second set. She loves them. They gently light up her whole porch. The double sided tape didn't last a day so we bought a better tape. She rents and didn't want to put screws in the rental porch.
