Technically yes. But it depends on what kind of martial arts you do. I practice Tien Shan Pai Kung fu with approximately 4 workouts and 2 additional days in which I teach—all inside on a padded floor—and my shoes did not last more than 30 days. My typical shoe of choice has been Chuck Taylors and I’ve worn them ever since I started practicing. I typically buy new shoes every 6 months so the 30 days was a real shock to me. The main thing to be aware of is the outside sole of the shoe is very narrow so if you must wear them, I’d recommend you do not do it in wet or rugged environments. So to answer your question you technically can wear these outdoors but I would not expect the shoes to last long term. It’s a tournament shoe so I’d recommend that you either wear them sparingly or just for special occasions.
