All ports and holes are properly exposed. The case looks very nice and seems to be well-made, when evaluated with the case closed and the iPad not in use. The stand feature helps my iPad to stand up securely (although in only one position).However, this case is highly impractical for holding the iPad in my hands, which is how I use mine most of the time. When I hold the iPad with the front cover flipped backwards behind it, because of the soft cloth "hinge" connecting the front and back covers, the flipped-over front cover has a lot of wiggle room and tends to slip around while I'm holding it. In practical terms, this translates to my having to hold the cover still and keep it from wiggling around, while at the same time holding the iPad still, all while trying to type on the iPad.If you use your iPad mostly while holding it in your hands as I do, you may want to consider some other model of case. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Great design! *by S***H on Reviewed in the United States on September 11, 2016* Fit my Ipad Mini 1 perfectly. Dimensions and colors were spot-on. The front cover is made of a thick, rubbery plastic (faux leather appearance) that can be easily wiped if dirtied while the inner material of the front cover is also made of a soft felt that is gentle on the ipad screen. The back cover is made of a hard semi-translucent plastic material that can also be easily washed.Great design and functionality. Great protection for the gentle Ipad user. However if you were to drop your gadget, this case would likely be unable to spare it from damage. If you have little ones, I would recommend looking elsewhere.
