I heard Refined Avocado Oil has a high smoke point when used to oil BBQ grill grates. Is this true and has anyone used this for BBQ grates?

Yes, avocado oil has a higher smoke point than most plant-based oils (above 500° F). I haven't used it for grill grates, but it should probably work.

Can you fry food and eat with this?

I use this to make soap but as far as I know it is food grade oil.
