See the full compatibility chart in the product photos and match your exact machine model. **Q: What do the other thread labels mean?** A: 40S/2 spun polyester is also labeled #60 / approx. 34WT. Nominal thread size: Tex 30, Denier 270. These are approximate commercial labels. **Q: What comes in the box?** A: 144 prewound bobbins in 13 solid colors: 40 white, 16 black and 8 each of 11 other colors. Approx. 60 yd (55 m) per bobbin; 8,640 yd (7,900 m) per box. **Q: How should I load and start the bobbin?** A: Follow the loading direction in your machine manual. Use only in a design that accepts Size A plastic-sided bobbins, then test tension and stitches on a scrap before starting. **Q: Is this cotton thread?** A: APM-40S2 is made from 40S/2 spun polyester. Cotton-like softness and appearance describe the texture, not the fiber content. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good selection of colors *by C***T on Reviewed in the United States on 6 August 2024* Works great in my machine ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A must for the busy sewer! *by P***L on Reviewed in Canada on 7 November 2023* My prewound bobbin order came through quickly and I am delighted with the colour range.I have limited time for quilting and the suggestion from my quilters group that I use prewound bobbins made great sense. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very convenient *by S***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 13 December 2023* Already used 1 white and 1 black. The convenience of not having yo fill a bobbin is pure luxury. The other colours are not what I'd usually use so will probably eventually give them to friends who use those Kind of colours. ## Frequently Bought Together - DOUBLELIN 144pcs Multi-Colors Prewound Bobbins Size A, 40S/2 Spun Polyester Thread 34wt, Plastic Sided, Size A, Class 15, 15J, SA156, 11 Colors by 8pcs per Color, 16pcs Black and 40pcs White - DOUBLELIN 144pcs Prewound Bobbins Size A for Domestic Sewing/Embroidery Machines, Compatible with Brother Machines, Plastic Sided, Size A, Class 15, 15J, SA156, White, 100% Polyester, 60S/2 100 Yards - New brothread 40 Brother Colors Polyester Embroidery Machine Thread Kit 500M (550Y) each Spool for Brother Babylock Janome Singer Pfaff Husqvarna Bernina Embroidery and Sewing Machines --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ph/products/312691212-144pcs-multi-colors-prewound-bobbins-size-a-40s-2-spun](https://www.desertcart.ph/products/312691212-144pcs-multi-colors-prewound-bobbins-size-a-40s-2-spun) --- *Product available on Desertcart Philippines* *Store origin: PH* *Last updated: 2026-11-08*
