POC Kortal Race MIPS

Looks great, but oddly shaped. My 60cm head doesn't fit into the supposedly 59-62 cm XX-L helmet - it is very narrow at the temples.

POC makes both Orange and Fluorescent Orange. Most often the ads on Amazon and other places display the regular Orange helmet... However, when you get the helmet, put your sunglasses on before opening the box. You are likely going to get the blinding Fluorescent Orange helmet that can clearly be seen from outer space. Do an image search online and you will see both colors side by side. Some ads say florescent in the fine print, but the picture in the ad is regular orange. BUYER BEWARE.

Returned. Not for me. The interior shape is a bit different from previous versions (Tectal) and doesn't appear to fit my head anymore. Tried another size and no good. I also don't love to visor/look but that isn't as big of a deal.

Bought this $250.00 helmet for my husband, he tried it on and LOVED it. Said it fit great. Then he wanted to adjust it a little more and the retention system broke. Broke the first time trying it on! This is a $250.00 helmet...should not happen. We've mtn biking for over 30 years and have never had a helmet break while trying it on. I've requested a return replacement and fingers crossed the next one being sent will be better.

Very comfortable helmet and not too nerdy looking. I usually wear a skate park helmet so this has been a massive improvement as far as ventilation. The fit is quite nice although the chin strap seems to be a little short so if you have a big ole double chin you might need something larger. Overall this helmet has been incredible! I will consider buying a full face from POC due to how comfy and light this one is.

This helmet fits like no other! I’ve had many different brands of helmet but this one fits like a glove. THEN I found all of the adjustments and it fit even better. The twICEme device gives an extra level of confidence by retaining your medical information that first-responders can scan and see if something bad were to happen. Glasses and goggles fit wonderfully under the visor. 10/10 would buy again!

This helmet is amazing. It is lighter than I expected and fits great. I like the features to add emergency contact information using NFC. It does feel like POC goes above and beyond with R&D.

So I picked this helmet because the pro I follow wears POC. 1st ride the helmet impressed me. It was hot and I felt like I wasn't wearing a helmet. So I am very happy with the purchase. The high tech components of the helmet are a bonus.

Toller Helm, mit dem ich mich sehr sicher und beschützt fühle. Im Gegensatz zu meinem bisherigen Mavic MTB Helm fühlt sich dieser deutlich besser an. Komfort ebenfalls sehr hoch.
