Bait it with the food the mice are already eating.
I tried peanut butter. Tried cheese. Tried crackers. Tried nuts. I finally was at my wits end when someone said "they always attack my granola bars." Problem solved! Don't ever think this. Put in whatever your garage/warehouse/shed mice are already eating and let it do it's job. Don't forget to check on it. They can starve in it. (apparently it is really escape proof)

Mice figured it out after two days.
The mice fell for it on day one. Not sure how many because when I got there the next day or so there were seven mouse tails and three mostly eaten mice. Since then, they won’t go near any of the traps. Pretty horrific.

Glad to have them but they can escape
I do like this for catching the mice I recently discovered are inside our vehicles. While the first time in one we caught 3 and one in another . But the other one they were able to eat all the food out of an escape ??? I don't know why that one didn't work but they are coming in handy don't get me wrong.

Great traps, love that you can see if there is a visitor in the trap or not.
I love these traps, for I can see if something is caught in it without opening. Bought these for our camper in which we got unexpected visitors (field mice). I highly recommend these compared to conventional mice traps.

Well built Mouse Snack Shack! Doesn't trap/hold the mice
I bought 3 traps, set up 2. It's been 3 weeks and I've captured only 1 mouse. Evidence that mice are able to enter the trap, eat the bait and exit at will. Some of the earlier reviewers stated the same problem and were able to remedy the issue by making adjustments to the alignment of the trap door. I've fussed with the ramp/trap door mechanism several times, but cannot make it escape proof. Would not recommend these traps.

Great product that works like you would expect it to
Great product that works like you would expect it to. Simple catch mechanism. The sight window is large enough to see through from a distance. Large enough to accept a glue board inside.

Must have a escape artist mouse,lol found the peanut butter gone again & no mouse, so as much as i hate too geuss I'll go back to the dollar throw away traps that work.....

The nice part is that I no longer set traps that ...
This trap does work and we have trapped mice. However we had had several instances where it was obvious that the mice stopped in for dinner and then left.????. The nice part is that I no longer set traps that were very effective but posed problems No dead bodies or partials to dispose of. Cats are very unhappy but they will get over it.
