I purchased this product because the original weather strip on my door ( RV ) does not keep out the elements. When I opened the package the Zseal is very soft and has a pretty good adhesive to it. Only time will tell how the adhesive will hold up in our environment. I like the product very much and would buy different styles of this weather seal.

Unfortunately like many others, what I received simply will not stick to any surface.After pealing off the red protective layer, little to no adhesion / stickiness.An initial bad sign, the red protective strip was not uniformly flat on the adhesive thus the potential for dust, and moisture to settle on the adhesive strip, or drying up before ever being used.The adhesion of the sticky strip is VERY well bonded to the rubber.I thought I could salvage this by pealing off the adhesive that came on it (True 3M? Maybe / Maybe Not. in my experience, have never had an issue with true 3M Products) and put some fresh adhesive on. Nope attempting to remove the adhesive strip tears the rubber. In the situation where I need this, simply adding a layer of a good adhesive strip, would make it all to thick and trap a lot of dirt and water.Unfortunately will need to decide if I return it for a refund, or maybe find another use.@ $15 a roll (16.4') not complete petty cash these days.I will say if this was sandwiched between two surfaces, it could be usable.I purchased a 16.4 roll of the both the Z Shape and L-Shape product.

Protective strip was starting to peel off of the 3M adhesive strip throughout the entire length of weatherstrip. This caused the 3M adhesive not to properly adhere to the surface. The entire strip was basically useless. The only thing I can think of is expired stock sold as new.

Easy to apply, easy to shape and conture to mounting surface, and sofar stays adhered to surface. The only thing I don't like is it reeks of that vulcanized rubber/sulfur smell and I suggest to handle in a well ventilated area.

It wasn’t as sticky and came off a very cleaned surface

The cheap adhesive they put on this weather stripping does not instantly adhere the way real 3M brand adhesive does, even with holding this in place for a few minutes and surface prep the weather stripping just falls off and is absolutely useless, save yourself the time and hassle and just go to the autoparts store and buy a real product that will adhere the first time.

Used to seal a topper door and side x side doors .

The rubber itself is solid quality, and I felt like I got a good amount for what I paid. However the adhesive is awful, and I really don't believe it's 3M at all. Beware, you will need go get some of your own adhesive tape to really use this.
