Possum Come A-Knockin' (Dragonfly Books)

This is one of the most delightful, fun and entertaining children’s books I’ve read in a long time. It has such an entertaining story but the rhythm of it makes it a fun read. I enjoy reading it over and over to my grandchildren and they love hearing it too. I would highly recommend it to others.

Such a cute book! At first I wasn't sure about it...but once you find "the rhythm" of how to read it, it is actually a fun book that my baby loves!!

I used to read this book to my children when they were young. They loved the rhymes and rhythm, and the illustrations. Now, I've introduced this book to my grandchildren, who love it too.

My kids and I always enjoyed reading this when they were young. I bought this as a gift for a friend who loves possums. It's a fun read.I gave this product 4 instead of 5 stars because it arrived with a bent cover. Amazon doesn't pack its books as sturdily as it used to. This one is a paperback, and it arrived in a padded plastic envelop, not sturdy enough to prevent bending. I appreciate Amazon's efforts to limit excess packaging, but packing the book with sturdier cardboard packaging, similar to how vinyls are packed, might have prevented creasing.

I purchased this book before we even had children, but it has always been one of my favorite children's books. It is so cleverly written and so witty!Who knew "a possum comin' knocking'" would be so captivating! Well done!

This is so fun to read to a child of any age—or an adult for that matter. Be forewarned, though—it can be hard to get the catchy syncopation out of your head. You might just find yourself bopping down the street to the rhythm of this prose!

My grandmother read me this book almost every night when I’d go visit her growing up. I cherish it dearly. I was so happy to find it here and order it. It came in perfect condition. Very happy!

Kids like it, I like it…we’ve read it many many times and keep coming back to it. It has a really fun rhythm!

I borrowed a copy of this book from the library years ago when my son was very young. For years this book came up in conversation which always ended with "I should see if I can find a copy". This book is now in my library waiting for the first grandchild to come along.
