I have a epson workforce wf-3640. I received today and was surprised at awkward shape and thgt I was cheated. It fit perfectly and prints perfectly. Printer accepted with no default codes. The only reason I didn't give this a 5 star is because I wanted to see how it performs after a week of teleworking. I bought because I had so many of the other colors and very few black.Feb 8th, 2021....still awesome ..changing to 5 stars.

Great firm to do business with.

This cartridge is large and I assume has a lot of ink. It fits the Epson WF-3540 and prints fine after I gave directions to work through the printer's attempts to reject a non Epson brand name. My only problem with it is that the instructions, if they exist, are illegible. There were no directions inside the box. There is text printed on the outside of the box, but it is very small type - possible smaller than 4 point. The text is printed with white ink over turquoise ink. I didn't even bother to try to read it with a magnifying glass. I knew the white ink would not stand out enough.I'm always puzzled by why companies who make an otherwise well engineered product overlooked providing legible instructions. Does no one realize that text that looks big on the computer screen prints out in the type size that has been chosen and is often too small to be useful?

We bought 3 large black ink cartridges for our WF 3640. They are the right size and shape but when installed the ink doesn't flow through the printer. Only a very light, very spotty partial print is made after multiple print head cleanings and reinstallations. I've tested two of the cartridges and neither worked. The cartridges have liquid in them (can be heard when shaken) but it isn't coming out as it should. Yes, I did remove the tape on each cartridge. Too bad, I loved the price.

Work well and seem to last long.

Easy to use

Tried both and printer did recognize the cartridges everything went smooth for installation, but did not dispense any ink very light copy unreadable broken up. Put in a real Epson cartridge and ran like a charm
