Great for dry skin
It’s been helping so much for my son’s eczema. I already purchase two bottles within a two month spand.

Effective and not heavily scented
Got this as I was experiencing a little eczema on my finger that was resulting in some stubborn dry skin. Love that this isn’t heavily scented and has helped get my skin back toward its normal disposition.

Very good
The first two ingredients are olive oil and beeswax. It is the best I've tried for areas of dry, scaley patches on my upper arms.

It was just "OK"...
I don't really see what the big deal is about this stuff. Yes, it's a nice ointment that coats your skin well. However it doesn't work any better than say plain old Vaseline or diaper rash ointment. In fact I can say with full confidence that the Desitin brand diaper rash cream I've been using on my eczema works better than this Pure Potions ointment. For me. I know everyone is different and maybe for some people this ointment was the best thing. For me it's just "ok". I had really high hopes for it and maybe that's part of my problem? Because of the high cost and the rave reviews, I assumed it had to be the answer to my prayers. Like I said, it is merely "OK". It's got a weird smell to it, because of the hemp oil, but I really don't care about how something smells if it works. So if it had been the godsend I was hoping for, the smell would've been a minor inconvenience. It's not even really a horrible smell, just doesn't smell "pretty" but again, if you're suffering from eczema you really won't care. My adult eczema is primarily contained to my ankles, feet and face. This stuff has the consistency of a very thick paste, which is nice. So although the container is relatively small (about the height and width of an egg, nice glass container) a little does go a long way. I've been using this on my ankles and have also used it on my face at night. It would be much to oily too wear during the day, unless you want to look extremely shiny. The eczema on my face is pretty mild though, as far as I don't have any open weeping sores. So for me, it was almost too oily and ended up giving me some blackheads. So I stopped using it on my face after a couple of times...now mainly just keeping it to the ankles...but again, I'll reach for my Desitin before I reach for this stuff. I feel like I have to just use up the container now that I've paid for it, LOL, but all in all the diaper rash cream I bought for $8 at the grocery store does a better job of staying on longer, making the itch stop and generally protecting my skin. Again this is just my own personal experience. The other thing which has helped my ankles/legs is pure virgin coconut oil, bought at the grocery store for around $11. I've been using that as a moisturizer for my feet, ankles and legs and it has worked wonders for my eczema! I use the diaper rash cream for small, specific patches as I really don't want to be spreading white diaper rash cream over my entire leg :) I highly recommend coconut oil for any skin conditions though. I have tried many, many ointments, creams, etc and so far the coconut oil has worked the best for me.

This really is salvation for skin issues
I first heard of this cream from a friend in the UK who recommended it for me. I am a senior adult (65) and have some dermatitis issues, as well as compromised skin which comes with age. I had skinned my shin (too active for my own good) and it has scabbed over. I ordered Balmonds Skin Salvation cream from Amazon to try it, hoping that the thin skin on my shin would not scar or become infected in any way. Well, I used it for four days, twice a day, on this scraped skin. The photo shows an extreme closeup of the worst area which was a deep gouge. I thought certain it would either get infected or leave a deep scar. Nope, not after using Balmonds for just four days. The skin is clear and even the deep gouge is just pink healing skin now. To my complete wonder this cream actually healed the injury faster, leaving no trace of scarring nor infection. I cannot believe it! I also have, from time to time, derm bumps on the nape of my neck at the hairline which are, according to my derm doc, caused by the fact that I do have dermatitis often and when I sweat (fan of the gym) the sweat will collect there and cause these bumps. I decided I had nothing to lose by putting Balmonds on them overnight. I did and presto, the next morning they were gone, literally gone! I applied a think coat of Balmonds the next morning before exercising just to ensure I had a sweat barrier. They have not come back and it is a week later. This product is really of a salve consistency, which you can warm in your fingers/hand before applying. This is a natural salve. It contains no dyes or fragrance. If you have allergic rashes (yep tried it on my granddaughter's rash and it worked), derm issues, eczema, etc, please try this. You have nothing to lose and healed skin to gain. At the pricepoint offered on Amazon, it is far cheaper than any other solution I have tried.

No words… genuinely salvation in a jar.
My child was prescribed cortisone by a pediatrician and pediatric derm for ‘eczema’ (likely misdiagnosed perioral dermatitis) that resulted in TSW (topical steroid withdrawal). The steroid initially cleared the mild rash, but it came back infinitely worse and significantly larger as soon as I discontinued use. I’m talking inflamed, flaky, cracked/wounded, bleeding skin. I purchased upwards of 10 other natural products hoping for relief, and none worked until this salve. If you are in this situation or similar, and looking for a solution, I can’t recommend this stuff highly enough. I saw improvement in hours, but with a month of consistent use, my child’s skin barrier is healing and the issue is nearly resolved. I think results would have come more quickly if the skin was not so damaged by the rX and other petroleum-based ointments/topical creams. Using a harsh prescription feels criminal knowing something this natural is what ultimately helped! I wish I knew better before ever using the cortisone on a small child!Regarding the smell other have mentioned, I think it’s the hemp. It’s not my favorite but it’s MORE than worth the results. Please don’t ever change the formula!I rarely write reviews but hope this helps others desperate for relief. Sincere thanks, Balmonds!
