Also I find that using it in combination with a softener power ups the effectiveness. No cramps or other problems. **Q: What is the difference between the original green ducolax and the pink ducolax**
A: I took the dulcolax in the green box for years off and on when needed.when the pink box came out I tried it. I find it works just as well, but without the cramps just like the box say's.  remember everybody's  body is different. what works for one may be different for someone else.

I occasionally need to take these as I’m on medication and due to the side effects, sometimes if I don’t take anything eventually, I just won't go for weeks. They do give you stomach cramps, especially if you eat something while it’s working. Also, a warning: Unless you are seriously constipated or it is recommended by a medical professional, do NOT take all 3 pills. You will spend your entire day running to the bathroom. And make sure you drink plenty of water & Gatorade with these because they cause dehydration.
