I'm upgrading from a D90 to a D800. What else will I need to upgrade, faster memory cards? What else do I need so I don't buy the wrong stuff first?

hi,i had the same problem,everybody so ramped up about the d800 that you need to by this and that,faster computer bla,bla,bla.all nonsense!!!!yes the files are large but do not need anything faster or bigger,i have sandisk extreme 32 gb 60mb/s compact flash and 32 mb 45mb/s 10 (high speed) sandisk sdhc..thats it..do not even have to buy extra memory so far.you might,depends how many pictures you take per say.i always take raw,which is largest,i also have 13 inch mc book pro.have lr5,cs6,photomatix,corel painter 12 niks collection,topaz collection and download 900 raw pictures and still do not slow as much,so you make your own judgment after all.

How can I learn the frame count on the many offered used bodies? Most listings do not include this information.

Ask the seller to show you before he ships... I one I got was low on count but had a lot of wear and tear
