It also explains how to recall long past memories and also preserve other heirlooms, which most books do not those provide insights. If you complete this book, you will have a life story to tell which is complete. I have reviewed 5 other books like these and this is one of the best.

This book is a must have before you pass. The children will cherish it

This book seems suited for someone who wants to document their own life story or their entire family. It’s a bit more formal approach than I was looking for - I wanted a book that would give my kids an idea of what I was like growing up, advice I’d leave behind, etc. I ended up returning this book because of that, but the book itself is well done, nice, and easy to follow.

Copy for me and a copy for my husband. I started asking questions to my husband about his parents. How they met, what they were like, wedding, stuff like that and he not his sister didn’t know. And there isn’t anyone left to ask. So I thought I don’t want our kids to be in that situation. So I got these books so our kids have our stories

I can't wait to fill this out with my grandmother. The pages are quality paper and there is so much insightful information to fill out. This will be something I will keep and hand down to my kids one day.

I am new to Genealogy but lucky enough to have a Genealogical Society (CNYGS - Central NY Genealogical Society) in my local and a large Genealogical Convention held in my city (Syracuse, NY). However, I rarely find help with organizing my family's history other than tracking down names of blood line relatives. While I gave this workbook three stars, I think the content was excellent and that the author did a great job trying to cover all bases with their questions and organization. It helped me in determining the direction of my life story with some very specific inquiry. After all, Genealogy research is not just for ones self but for future generations.

I found this book an excellant idea as a gift to people that are in hospital for long term illness to help keep their thoughts on positve life experiences for their surviving family members.I don't wish to write in it but rather use the infromation as an outline to help me write my own family history but in story form.I find that it is an enhanced diary of sorts, which is a valuable resource to give a a gift to an older relative to jot down their life experiences,feelings, views, and so on.It would be nice to see our family members writing ( and added photos or drawings) as a keepsake for descendants.

And my friend just love it, she's going to take her time to write and left hers memories to her kids.

Great book but personally, I found it much too confronting & I couldn't deal with it. It has everything you need but someone stronger than me needs to fill it in.

bought it for a Bday gift for my daughter-in-law. She loves it, great ideas about topics to write about.

This book was very helpful with my writing a family tree.
