Does the job

Iodex comes in regular and with added methyl, both are in our home at all times, it's our go to. Iodex was originally recommended by our pharmacist years ago and continues to eliminate or help anything we use it on/for. Another important thing is iodine in an ointment without added chemical or additives. It became less likely to be found on a shelf so finding it on Amazon was a winner. Baar Products, the Iodex distributor has a good line of products.

My mom love this product, is a little pricey for the amount of the product. But she really like this product .

A great product used for mild to moderate shoulder and knee pain with some pain relief occurring in about 15 minutes after applying to the affected area. Worth noting, that the Iodex might not be as efficient for extreme pain. While it's at a very high price, it's valuable as long as one is not expecting use for more severe cases.There is a distinct smell to the ointment that lingers until washed off — however, it is not an unpleasant odor, and is not off-putting. It has what may be described as a minty, medicinal smell. It is recommended to wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water after each application to eliminate the smell and residue on there.Be mindful that the Iodex can stain your clothing. This is the only negative, as it were, this is an ointment so this element is usually a packaged deal with this type of product. Do not use tight bandaging after application to prevent skin irritation.This product contains iodine, so it is not recommended for users who have thyroid conditions, as it can exacerbate those issues. Those breastfeeding should avoid use due to the risk of negatively affecting the infant's thyroid development. Application to newborn infants and children under 12 years should be excluded as well — the skin of children readily absorbs methyl salicylate and iodine more than adults and this is potentially toxic. The inactive ingredients (do not provide medicinal effects) are oleic acid, paraffin, and petrolatum, which are considered safe when used in adults and in children 12 years and over.Iodex methyl salicylate is worth trying for sprains, pains, soreness, and stiffness of muscles once considering it will provide some relief, but not full alleviation.

This is old school right here and when you really rub it in which heats it up it works even better!! Love this stuff.

I bought it for my cousin & she said that it helps relieve the sore muscles!
