YSense6 Pairs Mens Socks - Warm Wool Casual Crew Socks for Winter

I bought these mens socks for myself because I'm a larger woman with chunky ankles. I have larger feet (10-11), so the sock foot isn't too large for me. I fold the tops down, like bobby socks. I find the tops of the socks to be a bit tight, even when folded down. If I wore them like I was supposed to, there is no way the socks would fit my legs toward my calf, anyway. I wash them with the regular laundry, but only air dry after stretching the top elastic area out as far as possible. I've washed them a few times now, and they seem like they'll last an appropriate amount of time. The reason I love them so much is that FINALLY my feet are warm at work! I have a sedentary office job, and our office can be drafty and cold. It's normal for me to wear tennis shoes and still have freezing feet! These socks have made all the difference, and they are now and will continue to be the first pairs I reach for when I'm getting ready for work. They are on the thicker side and keep my feet toasty. I would recommend to others in my same circumstances.

I love these socks! I bought some for me and for my husband. He is a size 10 men's and I am a size 10 women's (8 in men's size). They fit him perfectly, even after washing and drying. They are a little loose on me, but that was expected since they are technically men's socks. I'd definitely prefer slightly big men's socks to the usual slightly tight "one size fits all" women's socks. They are great for wearing around the house. We wore them on our camping trip as well. They didn't keep our toes toasty, but they were definitely better than regular socks.

I bought these 2 plus months ago and have worn them several times each. So maybe 4-5 times for each pair of socks. 1 pair has a hole in both big toes. I just noticed it this morning. I have never had a sock blow out so fast...ever. I will have to look at the others as I wear them but pretty lame really for what seemed like a really nice sock at first. This is why I wait to write any review.

I like the quality of these socks but they have a musty smell like they have been stored in a damp basement. They are warm though. There is nothing like real wool to keep your feet warm and wick away the sweat. I recommend washing them inside out the first time to get rig of all the lint.

I've grown tired of cheap 12-packs of socks from box stores and have ordered different ones from Amazon, with hopes I can find ones I like. These socks are just that. Very comfortable, nice fit, and though I don't think they'd keep my feet to warm in a New England storm, they do have enough padding for around the house. I may buy another pack just to have when these wear out.
