Amazon Basics Folding Utility Knife, Lightweight Aluminum Body with Holster, Light Blue

This knife is awesome—it is super easy to open with one hand. The supplied blade wasn’t particularly sharp, but I you can easily replace it with your favorite utility blade brand.

The media could not be loaded. I got this for $5.67, and at that price, it is definitely a five star purchase. I put a few drops of titanium nano lubricant on the axle and it now works as a one-handed flipper, much like a Milwaukee fastback, which is make or break for me, as I use these in construction all day. It is very robustly built.Some things that I don't like are how large it is, even when closed. I also don't like that it doesn't snap closed when being operated as a flipper and often bounces back open, but once I get the feel for the knife, that will probably improve. I have gone through at least a dozen of these folding utility knives, as they often get lost/stolen/etc. and would say that the original full-sized Milwaukee fastback is still the gold standard for me(aside from the crappy wire pocket clips,) but at $5.67 this is hard to beat. If it were priced above $10, I would buy a different one, though.Edit: after two weeks of using this knife daily at work(construction), I have to say this is a great knife, even if sold for a considerably higher price. It has loosened up and flips in and out so easily now and I have gotten the feel for it. I just wish it had a little smaller footprint when closed, but it is still a fantastic knife.

product is great. pretty well designed. great value for the price. only thing that would make this better is if they had a compartment to store spare razor blades.

I have had very good service from Amazon Basics products. This utility blade seems to be just the one I need. So many to choose from there are more models than cars. But I am happy with this purchase and it works well. Blade hides away like a swiss knife. Safer. I like that a lot better than many other utility blades I've had over the years.
