Googan Baits Trench Hawg

These baits ROCK! I’m 46 years old and I’ve worked in the fishing industry my whole life. I began as a long line fisherman for many years and now I’m a Charter Boat Captain and have done it for decades. I’ve used just about every bait there is out there and I’ve always preferred using live bait when fishing freshwater because it tends to bring the best results for me. Googan baits have completely changed my mind. I live on the coast in NWFL and the freshwater fishing is not great here where I live in particular. If I saw 1-2 bass in a 10 hour fishing day that was a good day. Now, using these baits, I see 10-20 which is completely insane to me. After seeing me snag bass after bass, all of my buddies have switched to Googan. This Trench Hog, in particular, is 6” long, comes in a seven pack, and comes in 10 different colors... my favorite color is the Okeechobee Craw, a royal blue green lure with royal blue speckles. The Trench Hawg has a unique shape and a flange that really moves in an interesting way in the water. Ive done some reading on them and they’re engineered in a way to displace the maximum amount of water, so they definitely draw attention. The Hawg is a long slim bait designed to be able to cast it in between the trees and it not get caught up. They come packaged really nicely: they’re packaged in a way so they don’t dry out and don’t touch each other so they won’t clump together. There’s a reason they’re always talking about Googan on Lunkers TV.. it’s because THEY WORK. Last time I was out, I had another brand’s bait on and nothing was biting... I changed to the Trench Hawg and boom, boom, boom, one after another. Needless to say, I threw the rest of the other brand in the can and I’ve been in the process of replacing all of my lures with Googan. I don’t know the science behind it, but what I do know is something about the smell and the way they move in the water.. they just can’t help but bite them! Buy the Googan, you won’t be disappointed. “Open it, Smell it, Catch it!” then brag about it to all your buddies. 😂

I use other googan baits such as bandito bug, krackin craw, and the mondo worm and they work very well. I actually caught my PB on the bandito bug and that's all I really use but wanted to try another bait out so I purchased the trench hawg.Update: Very first time using this exact bait and it produced a decent healthy fish, so indeed these baits do work very well!!

It’s Googan, as the bag says. “Open it , smell it and catch. And that’s what they do. I’ve since used multiple googan products and very happy. Says cheesy but when I use I always catch, so it’s always a “Googan Day”

Terrible action. It draws through the water like a dead stick.
