Latin shoes
I love the shoes, I’m a size 9 and I bought an 81/2 and it fit perfect. Normally this Latin shies run big. The only thing is where you tight the shoe is too long, that would be my only complaint but other than that I’m happy with it 😊. I dance salsa with them and it was super confortable. 😊

Not made well and not true to size
The sole is so incredibly thin that when you looking at it from the bottom of the shoe at the sole you can see where the straps were glued in between the two pieces of material so you’re literally walking on the bumps of the straps which you can feel as you’re walking. Nine is a half size too big for me but in dress shoes that’s what I order. I ordered a nine for these and my toes literally were hanging over the edge touching the floor so I would say you’d have to order a full size if not a size and a half bigger. The ankle strap I don’t even know what to say about that. I have never seen one like this there’s a buckle and it’s on the side already with the holes but then where you attach it to the ankle it’s just a hook needless to say you can’t really secure it very well to your foot anyway. They look real pretty at a distance.

True to size
Pros:- True to size (go with your normal size or do 1/2 size up if you're going to be wearing these for prolonged periods of time to account for inevitable swelling). I'm usually a size 9 so I ordered a 9 and they fit great.- Quite comfy. I was able to dance immediately after getting them out of the bag.- Love the adjustable straps, can definitely work for both slim/thick ankles.Cons:- The toe cage is quite narrow. I would not recommend these for wide feet because of that. I don't have wide feet and by hour 2 of dancing, I definitely started to feel my big toes rubbing against the top toe strap. Nbd, I'm just going to wear a bandaid on that particular spot to prevent chaffing or a blister while practicing.- These are rather finicky to clasp. You do need some flexibility (at least enough to bend your leg at the knee, bringing your foot up to your hip to bend over and buckle them at the ankle). If you're elderly or have very limited mobility, these might not be the right choice. If you're a regular dancer, it'll just take a little getting used to.Notes:- These are dance shoes... NOT everyday shoes. They have a soft fabric sole so they're meant to be used on a dance floor, not walking around on concrete or "stepping on nails". (I saw a lot of negative reviews about this but it's not a negative thing)- They are pretty cheaply made... But they're also pretty cheap shoes! Similar dance shoes will cost at least $50/pair (and that's also going to be a cheap shoe). I bought these specifically for burlesque and chose them so I could have a few pairs in different colors to rhinestone & match with my costumes. If you're looking to invest in a pair that you're going to be solely using as a ride-or-die dance shoe, this ain't it.Don't be a cheapskate and complain, invest in a better pair of shoes for your needs.

Not for longterm use
Great looking shoe. Fits great and allows for good turns/spins. But not for all evening. After 3 hours of dancing, my feet developed boaters from the straps in the front and bottom of the toes. So painful!

So comfortable! Love the ankle strap, easy off and on latch.
These shoes i got for a 1920s Vamp Hollywood Glam look I did for Halloween. I wanted to be sure I could stand all night, and these shoes are so comfortable. There are no messy edges that might cause blisters or anything. My feet feel support and ankle as well. Balance was great in these, believe me, I need all the help I can get. Most shoes you wear out will have your mind on your feet all night, but these are worry free. I knew it was not going to slip, twist or fly off my foot. Great shoe overall. Match my dress perfectly. This has made me consider switching out all my heels to dancing shoes.

Slight learning curve
Never had a shoe I didn't understand how to clasp! But you move the buckle to where you need it the clasp goes under buckle to hold in place. Then cut off excess. So comfortable and giving. I'm not a professional dancer, but my feet did not hurt at all. And I love the little heel.
