Great quality and a decent price. It was almost perfect for the project I am working on be aware though the lid does not have much space and if you need more space on the lid side of things an about 3/4 of an inch look for a different box. I would highly recommend. However there is one other thing to be aware of the structure on the inside of the box isn't perfect there of contours to the inside perimeter and the measurements are off about a 1/8 -1/4 inch off from the rest of the boxes measurements. Its not something most people would care about but be aware of it if you need exact dimensions. I have yet to test how water proof it is but I suspect its just fine even at depth.

First & foremost, this thing is VERY well built. It is very sturdy hard plastic, steel pins are used in the hinges, the latches, and the handle. There are reviews that state the knob on front of case is a vent, which I suppose it is, but there is no opening and closing it, it is installed for no vent, or completely removed for a vent. Interior dimensions are 13" X 9&3/4" X 2&3/4". There is a a base foam approx 3/4", and a piece of pull & pluck approx 2", and a contoured piece of foam in lid. Plus it has two very sturdy set of holes to lock with padlock. Handle is very heavy & sturdy. Gave an average review for water resistance since I have no need nor desire to submerge this case, but it does have a gasket recessed in groove in lid, that appears to be very well made and very soft, I confident it would do well, if case were dropped in water, doubt that it would do good being continuously submerged. I have a much larger case that is very durable and well built, this one could hang with it it NO problem. When the need arises for another case i WILL NOT hesitate to purchase another AxiGear waterproof hard case. VERY WELL BUILT

Seems to be a good quality case. Secure latches. Easy to customize. Closes securely.Fits four Midland radios, belt clips, extra batteries, headsets, with room for additional items.

This is a really good case for the money. It's a little overboard for my use which is small hobby paint jars, but since they are glass, I don't worry about them breaking in this. This case is very similar to more expensive name brands with pretty much the same quality. The hardest part is tearing out the foam to customize it for your use, but you only do that once.This case works for my paint jars but would also probably be good for expensive tools, or a firearm, or anything of similar size. It seems to close securely but I have not dipped it in the tub to test its waterproof ability. I'm sure it is fine. Goos case, good price.

Great storage for tools

I bought this for my Ham Radio, specifically my Yaesu FT 891. The pick and pluck was super easy to use and the case is large enough to fit both the radio, power cable, and microphone without being too large on the outside. I could probably find some space for a couple other small accessories but this is basically just the right size to hold the radio.The case itself feels super sturdy and makes it a lot more comfortable to carry the radio. The handle feels substantial and the case is well built. I'd buy this again.

The measurements given are padded to the outer edges of the box significantly. I ordered this for a 10x8x2.7 in electronic and chords (two small controllers and one small power supply) and the only way it would fit is if I pulled out all the padding. Can’t return because I tried to fit it first. Seems like a sturdy box, but way too small.
