I received my order and was astonished to find that even though the package says "size 6", and "size 6" is stamped on the needle, it is in fact, a size 5. I know this because I have a gauge for needles. I ALWAYS check needles, regardless of packaging information. I am very saddened that what I NEED is not what I received.

As a knitter for many, many years, I love these needles. The yarn does not have a tendency to slide off the needle as readily as it does when using metal needles. This can result in fewer dropped stitches. Bamboo needles are a bit more pricey than metal ones; however, their performance is well worth the additional cost. For someone just starting to knit, this is definitely the way to go. I think you will be happy with the result.

I ordered these because I already have two sets of Clover Takumi circulars in size 1 and 2 for baby knitting and love them! I needed a good pair of shorties for children's and adult size hats and ordered a size 6 because I like that gauge for hats. These are smooth and fast and there is no "snag" in the join. A pleasure to work with. They are a very well made, sturdy brand. They don't get sticky and as long as you take care of them (I keep mine in a quilted needle case which I made) they will last for years. They came on time as promised and in perfect condition. I would recommend this shipper and this brand for anyone trying to decide whether Clover Takumi is the way to go.

The clover Takumi circular needles are the best quality. With that being said, the actual needles are short so your hands get tired more easily.

I’m a new knitter, Been crocheting and weaving for a decade. These worked wonderfully! Not too slick and a smooth transition for the cable. I’ve bought a few sizes now and have not had any quality issues.

My favorite knitting needle brand by far

These are very nice needles. Over the years I have bought several pairs and they are the only brand of knitting needles I buy now. Very comfortable to use, smooth for stitches to slide easily but not slippery like metal needles. Most importantly the cord is very well attached to the needles, nothing is more frustrating than picking up stitches in an emergency because the cord has broke off the needle in the middle of a project. With Clover needles, this has never happened to me.
