Does this screw in like a lawn hose?

No, the straight end slides onto your existing drain hose and you secure it with hose clamps. The curved end rests in the drain in the wall. The straight end has different circumferences so you slide it on as far as you can to match your existing hose size. The rubber is pliable to assist with this.

Is this soft like rubber or hard like plastic?

The upper part of the hose is hard then it get soft until you reach the bottom and then it gets hard again. I hope that helps you it’s very durable.

can you add this as extension to other hose because new machine drain pipe all the way in machine like lg do we need and extension tools ?

I don’t know. I used it to extend hose on portable washer, not full size. I used a clamp that looks like a ring with slots ... it works so far.

What is the diameter of the hose? I have a hole in my washer it needs to feed through that is 1.125"

Mine is 1 1/4” in exterior diameter
