Money well spent! Can't go wrong with Maxxis
Aspen has been around forever in 2.25 but the 2.40 width caught my attention. This lightweight, fast roller is a standard on the XCO world cup circuit. Not for wet, not for mud but I ride the dry, rocky, loose blown out trails in my neighborhood where the large volume casing is very forgiving if you don't get the line just right. My ride came shod with Maxxis Ardent Race EXO 2.25 and they wore like iron but after 2 seasons it was time for fresh rubber. A 2.35 Ardent Race EXO front and the 2.40 Aspen EXO out back on DT Swiss EX 1501 23 internal width wheel set at 20 psi. I can totally recommend these products!

He probado muchas cubiertas en la parte trasera y de maxxis... pero para el terreno donde vivo es más que satisfactorio el resultado.. tambien depende de la técnica y terreno donde se mueva el rider.. no es la típica cubierta con mucho taqueado... es muy rodadora, ya veremos la durabilidad

Excellent performance tire
Great tire for racing in hard pack and dry conditions. Low rolling resistance.I've been using it year round.

Pneumàtics ràpids i estables. Suficients per atendre a les sortides BTT del dia a dia. S'adapten molt bé al terreny i rendeixen molt bé. No té gaire bona frenada, però, menys frenar, més disfrutar!
