## Questions & Answers

**Q: Medium-extra-extra fine is confusing. So is there a coarse-exta-extra fine and a fine-extra-extra fine? I doubt it. So what is the medium part?**
A: Our extra fine is 1200 and extra-extra fine is 8000, so when the 4000 was put into production, it be came a medium extra fine to fit between the two existing extra fine grits. Phew, that was a mouth full. Have a great day! Happy Sharpening!!

**Q: What are the dimensions of the stone (plate)?**
A: Size: 6" x 2" x 0.25" (152 x 51 x 6mm)

**Q: For kitchen knives and cutting knives, they are not Dull but I want to keep em sharp, what do I need? extra or extra2 or something else?**
A: We would recommend getting the Magna Guide. It is user friendly and comes with an aligner that will help you guide your knives while sharpening.

**Q: what is this d8me model, I can find no mention on the manufacturer's website, I'm assuming this is the same as the d8e?**
