Great brush! It really helps smooth out flyaway hairs.

The bristles are smooth at the bottom where the bed of the hairbrush. They don’t have rough edges poking out like most hairbrushes. It’s not as heavy as most hairbrushes. The bristles are flexible & a thick plastic. The bristles aren’t as flexible as other hairbrushes I had in the past but those had rubber bristles & can be costly. This is a cheaper alternative. The pick at the end is attachable to the of the handle. The pick isn’t a sharp point. I did try it out when getting a tangle out & I liked it. It’s stays in place & attached. It didn’t fall off I was using it. It’s easy to flip around to put it back in at the end of the handle. The bristles are spread out enough to clean the hair out. I purchased the purple color & it is very nice pastel shade. It got all my tangles out easily & I always start from the ends first to work my way up because I have long hair. I didn’t loose many hair strands.

Love love my brush, so glad that I purchased it. Great size, not too big or too small, just right.

Dear reader,Of course buy this brush if you have any type of hair but me personally I have every type of hair its straight in some places curly in other in wavy in the majority but i have the most frizzy hair of anyone I know so I am here to tell you to GO BUY THAT BRUSH this brush helped me so much with my frizz its obviously didn't take it away but it was an improvement it is the slightest bit hard to clean but nothing too much it's not too rough to damage your hair but just stiff enough to get out all your twists and tangles especially if you're like me and that happens often another plus its super light and easy to carry with you were ever you go it is long so I wouldn't recommend it if your trying to put it in small spaces but I don't think it's that big of an issue and for this great of a brush it's worth it and one last thing because I know this review is long and not many people will read it but it has lasted me over 10 years and that's saying something considering how I treat my brushes (ifykyk) all this to say go buy yourself that brush you won't regret it!!!

Best vented paddle brush out there. Really straightens. I want one everywhere like for travel and home. Wonderful

This hairbrush is solid, has many rows of “bristles,” and is good for brushing hair but the weight of it is off. The handle is thinner and lightweight, while the paddle is heavy, so I find myself dropping it more often than I’d like. Used it to blow dry, because all of my old Conair brushes are getting melted bristles, and this brush holds up to the heat, but is awkward to use because of the many bristles— it doesn’t pull through my thick hair with ease. So, still looking for the “perfect brush” that will tolerate heat, but stay in my hand and ease through my hair…

This was a wonderful gift!

Bought this two years ago. I have five daughters some of which have very thick wavy hair, some have fine, then straight hair some are in between. This really is the brush to get tangles out. The bristles are strong and glide through thick hair really well. It is everyone’s favorite brush even though the round tips have fallen off. Everyone notices that it takes lest time to brush their hair out with this brush. I’ve been trying to find something comparable to buy that is less money, but I can’t and I’m buying a replacement brush.
