Magical Experiments with Light & Color (Magic Science) Paperback – September 1, 2014

Love this! I am in college getting my teaching degree. I needed a book about lights for a class and this is perfect. It will benefit me for the future when I am a teacher and I can do this with my students. Love it and totally would recommend it.

Wasn't a lot of information, not very useful past the age of four, frankly. But a cute book.

Stiff feeling book (which I'll write off as quality). Cool little experimental projects inside! Fun for everyone!

This book is on in a series of four written for children ages 6 - 12. There are 16 experiments in this book which will assist your child in learning concepts associated with light and color.I felt this book was well written. All the experiments use materials that can usually be found around your home. The step-by-step instructions were written clearly and in language children would easily comprehend. There was an additional explanation on each page " why the experiment worked", which should help with the analysis and conclusions.Older children could probably perform these experiments independently. However younger children would benefit from adult supervision.*I received this for review - all opinions are my own*
